In this update, a new feature has been introduced to complement the favorability system added in the previous update, and the knighting quest structure has been revamped. In addition, we have implemented balance adjustments, quality-of-life improvements, and major bug fixes to ensure smoother gameplay.

⚠️ With this patch, all ongoing quests from the previous patch will be reset. Please keep this in mind!

  • When your favorability with a merchant increases, you can access a special shop. In the special shop, you can purchase some items previously sold by the merchant at a lower price.

  • With the introduction of the new favorability shop system, the previous feature where recovery and repair costs decreased based on favorability has been removed.

  • When you reach a certain level of favorability with characters, they will try to repay your trust.

▣ Knighting Quests

The conditions for accepting knighting quests have been relaxed, and the quest structure has been revamped.

  • Changed so that quests can be received when the relationship with the Lord is 'Neutral' or higher, and the probability factor has been removed so that completing all 3 presented quests guarantees investiture as a knight.

  • ※ Caution: Please note that if you fail even once during the quests, you will never be able to receive knighting quests from that Lord again.

  • The knighting quests consist of a total of 3 missions: Defeating Deserters, Recovering Goods, and Preventing Assassination.

  • Once a mission is completed, you must visit the Lord to report the results and receive the next mission.

  • After completing all missions and proving your capabilities, you will be knighted.

  • If the Lord is not staying in the castle, you can get guidance on their location through the Chamberlain.

▣ Other Quest Adjustments

  • Quest Rejection Feature AddedA feature has been added that allows you to completely reject unwanted quests. Upon rejection, the corresponding quest request will be deleted immediately.
  • Quest Item Adjustments: Certain quests that are currently under development have been excluded from the appearance list so they do not appear in the game.

  • Quest Target RulesFixed an issue where quests were abnormally canceled due to the quest target being attacked by other AI. Characters designated as quest targets can no longer attack other AI and are excluded from being targeted by other AI.
  • Quest Cancellation ConditionsChanged so that if the quest giver dies, the active quest will be properly handled as canceled.

▣ Game Balance & Adjustments

  • Equipment & Combat BalanceOverall lowered the penetration values of weapons, heavy armor damage of crossbows, and shield block probability.
  • Max Level Cap Increase: Extended the maximum level from level 16 to level 30, exclusively for the player's party members.

  • Proficiency System Revamp: Overhauled the proficiency acquisition method; you will now gain more proficiency when attacking/defeating higher combat-power enemies or when taking damage.

  • Conversion Cost Added: 1,000 Aureon is now required when undergoing religious conversion.

  • Arena Rewards & CostsThe minimum Aureon reward for the Arena has been increased from 500 Aureon to 1,000 Aureon, and the minimum Arena entry fee has also been changed from 150 Aureon to 300 Aureon.
  • Mercenary Hiring Cost FixFixed an issue where hiring costs were set excessively high due to mercenaries in certain regions equipping overly expensive gear.
  • Merchant Spawn AdjustmentsThe number of merchants spawning in large cities has increased, and the reduction in merchant count based on city types has been removed.
  • AI Skill Usage AdjustmentsAdjusted the AI to use skills in a more colorful and diverse manner during combat.

▣ Quality of Life Improvements

  • Item Management: Introduced item repair targeting, locking, and discarding features to manage items more efficiently, and added these features to the shop and combat results widgets.

    • Repair: Only items designated for repair will be repaired. Equipped gear is always included in the repair targets.

    • Lock: Locked items cannot be sold or discarded.

    • Discard: Unnecessary items can be discarded immediately.

  • Supply Consumption RulesAdjusted supplies within the inventory to be consumed starting from the lowest remaining quantity for efficient usage.
  • Faction Member List SortingTo improve the visibility of the faction member list within the faction card, it has been changed to sort by title. If titles are identical, they will now be sorted in descending order of combat power.
  • Automatic Gear Re-equippingImproved the system so that if a mounted horse or siege weapon was automatically unequipped due to combat rules, it will be automatically re-equipped after the battle ends.
  • Inventory Sorting Rules: Stabilized the inventory sorting feature so that the existing sorting order between identical items remains intact without being disrupted.

▣ Major Bug Fixes

  • Arena System FixesFixed an issue where longbows were excluded from the arena reward equipment types.
  • Caravan Escort GuidanceFixed an issue where the target castle was not displayed on the screen before accepting the Caravan Escort quest, ensuring the target castle is correctly guided before acceptance.
  • Caravan Quest Error FixFixed an issue where the quest would immediately trigger as completed if you engaged in direct combat with the caravan while performing a Caravan Escort quest.
  • Battlefield Terrain Error FixFixed an issue where terrain and ground were not rendered correctly on the screen in some battlefield maps.
  • Spawn Point Error FixResolved a problem where the player and squad were abnormally placed due to insufficient clear space at the initial game spawn points.
  • Bandit Spawn Error FixFixed an issue where the quest target bandit squad spawned completely flushed against terrain walls, causing interference with controls or combat.
  • Abduction Sound Error FixFixed an issue where character voice audio was abnormally outputted on the battle results screen when a hostage abduction event occurred.
