Here's what's changed:

🔧 Bugs Squashed

#IssueStatus
140-100% CPU usage & broken Linux launch✅ Graphics system overhauled: added Quality options (Low/High), customizable FPS limiter, and dedicated V-Sync toggle. Native Linux executable now points to the correct binary.
2Screen Shake setting had bugged default value✅ Values now always display as whole numbers or max 2 decimal places. No more invisible micro-variations.
3Enemies wouldn't spawn in Arena (13/13 but empty)✅ Arenas rebuilt from scratch. Enemies spawn properly and every 5-7 waves you'll face a Boss.
4Crash when clicking "Menu" from Arena✅ Fixed.
5Intro unskippable and replaying on every launch✅ Intro can now be skipped and plays only on first launch.
6Tutorial replaying every time✅ Same logic: tutorial updated and shown only once.
7Destroyed bases stuck at "100%" with no feedback✅ Bases temporarily removed pending the Campaign, coming after Boss Ride. New destruction system with explosions and audio on the way.
8No reload sound✅ Added.
11Steam Overlay not working✅ Should now work correctly.
12Confusing menus (crafting and sections hidden)✅ UI reorganized: every section is now immediately obvious and easy to navigate.
13Game locked at 1080p (no ultrawide support)✅ Multiple Stretch Mode options added (Keep, Ignore, Expand, Keep Width, Keep Height) — now supports any resolution, including 3440x1440 ultrawide monitors.

🎮 Game Feel & Movement (Beta)

We took the movement feedback very seriously.

"Ship stops and starts on a dime, makes movement feel cheap without any sort of feedback"

The movement system now features:

  • Smooth acceleration and deceleration — no more instant stopping

  • Lateral drift on turns with visual feedback

  • Adjustable turn speed for weightier, more satisfying control

  • Completely redesigned Dash: epic animations, plasma trail, screen shake, and gradual speed decay instead of abrupt stops

This system is in active beta testing — we'll keep refining it until it feels perfect.

🗺️ What's Coming

  • New Boss — For sure, new boss is in development.

  • Campaign — in development, releasing after Boss Ride

  • Boss Ride — new game mode on the way

🙏 Thank You

Thank you to everyone who reported bugs, gave feedback, and helped shape this patch. Keep letting us know what works and what doesn't every comment matters.
