Someone with 10,000 games in their backlog reviewed Void Phantom.
500 words. SteamDB data, achievement analysis, market comparisons. Serious work.
He spent more time writing the review than actually playing the game.
They were right about almost everything.
Peak players: 2. Less than 35% of players reached the first boss. The game was empty. The numbers are public. Anyone can verify them.
I read that review more times than I'd like to admit. Then I got back to work.

It's still pixel art. Still Italian. Still made by a single dev.

There is now a weapon in the game called"Obey the Fist!"

Range: full screen.
Effect: instant elimination of all enemies.
Powers: God.
It unlocks automatically. It exists for only one person — the one with that exact name on Steam — and no one else. Just for fun.
With an average completion rate of 15% across 10,000 games, they'll probably never reach it.
But the weapon will be there waiting.
