The night belongs to you, Bloodlord!

But the castle won't build itself alone. Behind every throne stands a court. And behind every court… are those who chose to serve. Or were made to.

Two Sides of Every Rumour

In villages, rumours are the most favourite pastime. The villages of Sangavia are no exception, but they have a bigger influence here than you might think.

Every rumour carries two sides. One for the living. One for the undead. A rumour that looked like a minor inconvenience for a human can become a powerful advantage… or a growing problem within your castle. A villager feared by others might drag down morale while alive, but as a vampire, they could unsettle your entire castle and slowly erode the loyalty of all your other servants!

Choose carefully who you bring into your bloodline, and if they are worthy to stay in it!

Loyal Bloodline

Your servants are not bound to you forever.

Each vampire in your castle has their own loyalty value, which changes night by night based on how well you manage them. They respond to your decisions and to how well you meet their needs.

At the very least, they expect the basics. Blood from the Core. A proper coffin. Without these, their loyalty will start to drop. But those are only the plain necessities. At the start of a night, your servants may raise specific desires for you to consider. If you meet those needs in time, their loyalty remains stable. If you ignore it or fail to provide what they need, it will drop.

You have two nights to respond, so be careful - if a vampire’s loyalty reaches zero, they will leave your castle.

Every servant brings value, but also a cost. It’s on you, Bloodlord, to keep the balance. Keep your bloodline fed and rested. Keep them satisfied enough, and they’ll build your domain for you.
