In this update, we buckled down to tackle the performance issues many of you have reported. Expect a smoother experience, and we'll make up for the content gap in the next big content update, which brings the character creator.
What Lies Beneath
Your castles stand on more than stone. This update reaches into their foundations: audio, UI, physics, AI crowd simulation, world systems. In short, everything that makes the world run. After sweeping optimisations across all these areas, we tested extensively across different hardware and locations in-game. From mid-range rigs to high-end builds, the results were clear: smoother performance across the board. Steam post image

Missing Gems
During the Enchantment update, gems were unintentionally stripped from your vaults. We sincerely apologise for the oversight! As compensation, those with already started games will find 5 rare gems in their treasury. And we'll keep the Inquisition's fingers away from your vaults going forward.
While this is one of the bigger performance passes, these are happening on a smaller scale with every update.
