addedA new island rises, full of life and home to the ever-enthusiastic Jum Jums. Alongside them lives the young Mossback, son of the legendary Tortoroxx. Despite his younger years (for his species, anyway), he's become famed as an industrious ship builder.
addedThere is now more than one ship you can sail in the game! Alongside this new ship we have added a mooring system, and you must moor your current ship in order to sail a different one. This mooring system manages a number of situations behind the scenes, and sets the foundation for allowing you to own multiple ships as you explore further into the world.
addedEagle-eyed players will notice some menacing new mechanisms aboard this great ship. Giant Ballistae are a new type of weapon, mounted to the ship and used to defend it from gargantuan threats. I sure hope you don't happen across any of those in your adventures.
changedThere are more big changes coming, especially to the marketing of the game - so stay tuned to check out all the cool stuff we'll be showing off!

Tortuga Verde

A new island rises, full of life and home to the ever-enthusiastic Jum Jums. Alongside them lives the young Mossback, son of the legendary Tortoroxx. Despite his younger years (for his species, anyway), he's become famed as an industrious ship builder.

You could sure do with one of those - but how would you gather the payment necessary for such a massive investment? Perhaps there's a favor you could offer him, fortune favors the bold, try asking…

Multiple Ships

There is now more than one ship you can sail in the game! Alongside this new ship we have added a mooring system, and you must moor your current ship in order to sail a different one. This mooring system manages a number of situations behind the scenes, and sets the foundation for allowing you to own multiple ships as you explore further into the world.

There are a few locations in the world where you can moor your ship, including Mudley's Molehill.

Shooting Onwards

Eagle-eyed players will notice some menacing new mechanisms aboard this great ship. Giant Ballistae are a new type of weapon, mounted to the ship and used to defend it from gargantuan threats. I sure hope you don't happen across any of those in your adventures.

…but if you are so unlucky, it'll advantage you to know that their mighty bolts are pretty heavy. So take care to keep your Ballistae loaded, even while under fire.

Our focus is now forwards towards Steam Next Fest. Thank you to all of you who have played in our playtests and given us your feedback, you've helped shape the game into what it is now.

Our next Playtest at the end of August (#9) will likely be the last playtest before Next Fest. Please note that the end of August Playtest (#9) will reset all save files.

There are more big changes coming, especially to the marketing of the game - so stay tuned to check out all the cool stuff we'll be showing off!
