changedShip Damage & Dynamic SeasNo more ploughing your ship straight into the shore of islands you're set to conquer. Your ship will now take damage from impacts, and even list heavily and partially sink if it takes enough damage. Thankfully there's now a handy Repair Station available to aid with minor patch-ups. Make sure you put a trustworthy captain on your helm.
changedShip Damage & Dynamic SeasThe challenge of helming the ship has gone up a notch. As the weather deteriorates and visibility drops, you have to deal with heavy seas. Don't underestimate the wrath of Calypsis!
addedBelts & Weapon SetsNavigating your consumable items can be tough when you're under pressure in combat. Especially if you're collecting all the things (we see you). But that's OK, because now there are belts! Pick what items you want to be available at a moments' notice, and add them to your belt for fast access.
addedBelts & Weapon SetsAnd speaking of fast access - have you ever been fishing or chopping trees down and suddenly found yourself ambushed? Or have you wished you had two different sets of weapons available in a boss fight for handling different situations? Well you're in luck! You can now equip an alternate weapon set and quick-switch between them. I like this for having my axe or fishing rod with me - but what will you use it for?

Ship Damage & Dynamic Seas

No more ploughing your ship straight into the shore of islands you're set to conquer. Your ship will now take damage from impacts, and even list heavily and partially sink if it takes enough damage. Thankfully there's now a handy Repair Station available to aid with minor patch-ups. Make sure you put a trustworthy captain on your helm.

The challenge of helming the ship has gone up a notch. As the weather deteriorates and visibility drops, you have to deal with heavy seas. Don't underestimate the wrath of Calypsis!

Rafts and Flotsam

How do Gribbles migrate between islands? A day of raft building, a pinch of seafaring skill, and a boat-load of luck. But they won't appreciate seeing your kind sailing up to them. Sail with a little more caution as you explore the world.

Depending on your mood, you may not want to avoid those rafts. You can leap off your ship and board them with a paralysing plunge attack. Or even ram them with your ship. After all, you're bigger right?

And if they do get the better of you and manage to sink your ship, look out for flotsam floating around. If you're stuck finding materials for repairs, salvaging flotsam could be just the ticket.

Belts & Weapon Sets

Navigating your consumable items can be tough when you're under pressure in combat. Especially if you're collecting all the things (we see you). But that's OK, because now there are belts! Pick what items you want to be available at a moments' notice, and add them to your belt for fast access.

And speaking of fast access - have you ever been fishing or chopping trees down and suddenly found yourself ambushed? Or have you wished you had two different sets of weapons available in a boss fight for handling different situations? Well you're in luck! You can now equip an alternate weapon set and quick-switch between them. I like this for having my axe or fishing rod with me - but what will you use it for?
