addedDESTINATION SYSTEMCity-based transport now uses a new Destination System . Intercity passengers and some other city-based cargo now spawn separately for each destination. Destination passengers or cargo need to be delivered to the correct destination to be accepted. Destination system can be fully combined with the current order system, to easily create specific lines for each destination, create passenger transfer stations, or let the system decide automatically.
changedDESTINATION SYSTEMTotal number of intercity passengers spawned by a city remains the same, but individual spawn rate for each destination is now based on Destination Population and Growth , not just origin city population. This means that a small city might produce more passengers to a large city, than large city to small one, which might not be as intuitive at first and lead to more asymmetrical transport, which is always fun.
addedDESTINATION SYSTEMIf using any way to limit cargo transfer, like Station Transfer or Per Cargo setting, both Destination and Cargo type options have to be enabled for cargo to succesfully transfer.
addedNEW CITY CARGOTwo new city-based cargo types have been added. Baggage and Mail .
changedNEW CITY CARGOBaggage is rail-only cargo, spawning concurrently with intercity passengers, but transported by specific railcars. Baggage spawn rate is based on distance to destination. Increasing with further distance, with almost no baggage spawning for destinations within 64 tiles.
addedNEW CITY CARGOMail spawns and is accepted by Post Office (which currently looks like a previous town hall, until I can make something more appropriate). Mail is also a destination cargo, so it spawns separately for each destination and spawns based on destination population and growth. Mail can currently be transported by new railcars (same as baggage) or trucks (not trailers). Cannot be transported by ships.

So many things to do, so not enough of anything else...

DESTINATION SYSTEM

City-based transport now uses a new Destination System.

Total number of intercity passengers spawned by a city remains the same, but individual spawn rate for each destination is now based on Destination Population and Growth, not just origin city population. This means that a small city might produce more passengers to a large city, than large city to small one, which might not be as intuitive at first and lead to more asymmetrical transport, which is always fun.

Local passengers remain the same.

Current Limitations There is only one Destination setting shared by all cargo in Vehicle Orders. If you want to use any way to limit cargo transport, like Per Cargo option, this setting will apply to all destination cargo. F.E. you cannot transport passengers only from town A to town B, while also transporting mail only from town A to town C. (Unless you use individual Per Car options)

If using any way to limit cargo transfer, like Station Transfer or Per Cargo setting, both Destination and Cargo type options have to be enabled for cargo to succesfully transfer.

NEW CITY CARGO

Two new city-based cargo types have been added. Baggage and Mail.

Baggage is rail-only cargo, spawning concurrently with intercity passengers, but transported by specific railcars. Baggage spawn rate is based on distance to destination. Increasing with further distance, with almost no baggage spawning for destinations within 64 tiles.

Mail spawns and is accepted by Post Office (which currently looks like a previous town hall, until I can make something more appropriate). Mail is also a destination cargo, so it spawns separately for each destination and spawns based on destination population and growth. Mail can currently be transported by new railcars (same as baggage) or trucks (not trailers). Cannot be transported by ships.

FERRY TRANSPORT

Speaking of ships... Ferries have finally been added!

New transport option with 3 new ferry types, from small car ferry to massive cruise ferry and more models will be added gradually. Ferries also have new Ferry Port type with different design.

IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES

  • Added option to upgrade and destroy road/track in segments. (currently with CTRL)

  • Added option to delete cargo from station. (Station can't be accepting cargo and Accept option has to be set to Never in the Transfer window)

  • Passenger Stations now load/unload 3 cars at once.

  • Fixed some problems with overtaking detection on multi-trailer trucks and collision detection on multi-lane curve roads. Parallel lanes now shouldn't block collision.

  • Fixed multi-trailer trucks depot parking and some issues with depot leaving.

  • Fixed issue with ship pathtracing when multiple ports are placed right next to each other.

  • Fixed few issues with train stopping at a depot, adding depot order while train is moving and few issues with depot Preset Orders.

  • Fixed issue with signals letting multiple trains through at the same time, caused in previous update.

MORE US RAILCARS

Continuing to add new US-style railcars into the mix. This time new F59PHI loco, a bunch of passenger and baggage cars, gondolas and
