addedAhoy, Tinkerlanders! In May, we kept working on new content, but a big part of the month was also about improving the game based on your feedback. We read your reports and suggestions, and we’re making changes to smooth out the experience, fix pain points, and improve core systems.
changedSeamless Save/LoadWe’re working on an upgrade to the save/load system to make it 100% transparent to the player. It’s still a work in progress, but the good news is: it already has far fewer noticeable hiccups, and the overall flow feels much smoother.
changedPirate Outpost (WIP)The Pirate Outpost is still a rough WIP, but it’s coming together. You’ll find multiple buildings and NPCs there and each one will offer different Contracts, accept different token types, and provide their own unique services. In short: the pirates aren’t just “a shop”. They’re becoming a whole little ecosystem. Steam post image

Ahoy, Tinkerlanders!

In May, we kept working on new content, but a big part of the month was also about improving the game based on your feedback. We read your reports and suggestions, and we’re making changes to smooth out the experience, fix pain points, and improve core systems.

Here are the main things we focused on this month:

Seamless Save/Load

We’re working on an upgrade to the save/load system to make it 100% transparent to the player. It’s still a work in progress, but the good news is: it already has far fewer noticeable hiccups, and the overall flow feels much smoother.

Pirate Outpost (WIP)

The Pirate Outpost is still a rough WIP, but it’s coming together. You’ll find multiple buildings and NPCs there and each one will offer different Contracts, accept different token types, and provide their own unique services. In short: the pirates aren’t just “a shop”. They’re becoming a whole little ecosystem. Steam post image

Hive Island (Complete)

Hive Island is now complete, and it's a place infested with all kinds of insects, topped off with a proper finale: a giant moth boss! If you like new biomes that feel distinct (and slightly hostile), this one is for you.

Fungal Island (WIP)

Fungal Island is still in development, but the environment is now much more defined and readable. Think of this as the stage being built before we start filling it with the “actors” (content, encounters, and reasons to come back). Steam post image

Mech Island (Sneak Peek)

Just a tiny tease this month: a couple of structures from the upcoming mechanical island. Not much to show yet - but yes, it’s real, and yes, it’s going to look very different from anything we’ve had so far.

Misc Changes & Quality of Life

Boss summons now respect biomes

For balance reasons, some boss summoning items can now only be used in the appropriate biome. No more summoning a nightmare in a completely wrong place “just because you can”. Steam post image

Stop resource respawning

We’ve added a new interactable that prevents resources from respawning while it’s active. This should give you more control over your world.

That’s all for May!

Thanks for continuing to share feedback - we genuinely read it, track it, and use it to steer the work. If you want to help shape what comes next, tell us: which island tease has you most curious (Hive / Fungal / Mech), and what parts of the game still feel the roughest to you right now.

And as usual, join the discussion (and find co-op buddies) on our Discord server!

Enjoy your adventure in the Tinkerlands and happy June!
