addedAhoy, Tinkerlanders! It’s getting hotter and hotter outside - and the same can be said about our development kitchen. April has been packed with big systems work, a juicy chunk of new content, and quality-of-life improvements based directly on your feedback. Here’s what we've been working this month:
addedFungal IslandWe said that longer gaps between updates would mean bigger updates and we really meant it. Here’s a sneak peek at a brand-new location: Fungal Island, along with its very own Lord. Expect new challenges and a chunk of fresh adventure content for explorers who like their islands… a little weird.
addedFuel MachineMeet the Fuel Machine - a new way to power up statues. It consumes fuel to activate them and make sure the enemies they summon actually drop loot. Different statues require different amounts of fuel, so choosing what to power (and when) will matter.
addedDyesTo go with the new Mirror system, you’ll also be able to find and purchase hair dyes and apply them to your character. Because sometimes you don’t need a new sword - you just need a new vibe.
changedQoL: Buffs from InventoryThis one has been suggested again and again and we agree it’s simply better. Certain items will now grant their benefits just by being in your inventory , without taking up an accessory slot. Less friction and more fun moments guaranteed!
addedThat’s all for April! As always, thank you for sticking with us - your feedback genuinely supports us and shapes what Tinkerlands becomes next! The doors of our Discord community are always open for you to discuss upcoming features, report bugs, and find new co-op partners!

Ahoy, Tinkerlanders!

It’s getting hotter and hotter outside - and the same can be said about our development kitchen. April has been packed with big systems work, a juicy chunk of new content, and quality-of-life improvements based directly on your feedback. Here’s what we've been working this month:

Fungal Island

We said that longer gaps between updates would mean bigger updates and we really meant it. Here’s a sneak peek at a brand-new location: Fungal Island, along with its very own Lord. Expect new challenges and a chunk of fresh adventure content for explorers who like their islands… a little weird.

Contracts

One of the next update’s major additions is Contracts. You’ll be able to buy contracts from the pirates, complete them, and earn tokens. Those tokens can then be spent in the Pirate Camp on unique items and services.

Contracts come in many flavors - from straightforward errands to more adventurous tasks, like tracking down buried treasure.

Fuel Machine

Meet the Fuel Machine - a new way to power up statues. It consumes fuel to activate them and make sure the enemies they summon actually drop loot. Different statues require different amounts of fuel, so choosing what to power (and when) will matter.

Fuel Recycler

To keep the Fuel Machine running, you’ll need fuel. And that’s where the Fuel Recycler comes in. It lets you recycle unwanted items and convert them into fuel, turning clutter into progress.

Mirror

We’ve heard your feedback loud and clear: character customization is coming! In the next update, you’ll be able to use different Mirrors to change your character’s appearance, so you can finally stop looking like the same little gremlin in every co-op screenshot.

Dyes

To go with the new Mirror system, you’ll also be able to find and purchase hair dyes and apply them to your character. Because sometimes you don’t need a new sword - you just need a new vibe.

QoL: Buffs from Inventory

This one has been suggested again and again and we agree it’s simply better. Certain items will now grant their benefits just by being in your inventory, without taking up an accessory slot. Less friction and more fun moments guaranteed!

That’s all for April!

As always, thank you for sticking with us - your feedback genuinely supports us and shapes what Tinkerlands becomes next! The doors of our Discord community are always open for you to discuss upcoming features, report bugs, and find new co-op partners!

Enjoy your adventure in Tinkerlands and see you in May!
