Demo version 0.9 now available!

It's been a while since we last released a demo version of the game but here it is! This will likely be the last minor version before the complete release version.

It's been a while since we last released a demo version of the game but here it is!

This will likely be the last minor version before the complete release version.

Due to core changes to the game, old saves are invalid and won't load.

A complete playthrough on normal difficulty should be about an hour.

  • Localization: Polish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German

  • Panoramic mode: Disable the UI and unlock a better vantage point to admire your city

  • Accessibility toggle: Show how far subjects can go when hovering a building

Balancing

  • Using newer culture producing buildings is not necessary to unlock more land. Remaining on older culture buildings will not produce enough

Tweaks

  • Updated cursors: pointer and hand

  • Small change to the shape of the world

  • Subject assign faster to different locations (work, worship...)

  • The higher the era, the higher the culture penalty for failing to feed subjects

  • Building movement is enabled if the tutorial has been completed in another save

  • Added culture choices, missions completed and policy choices in different tooltips to inform players of their effects

  • Leave game requires a confirmation

Bug fixes

  • Fixing issues with recording software not working or only recording the cursor

  • Mission can complete even in pause

  • Disputes can't happen in empty workplaces

  • Showing proper failure message when building is not placeable

  • Camera is clamped closer to the island to avoid going away

  • Prevent placing and deleting Stele in creative mode

  • Avoid freezing issue when loading saves

  • Hide building category when moving a building

  • Prevent sudden weather changes

  • Avoid text overflow issues in the scribe screen

  • No more ghosts subject appearing

  • Tree no longer hides pavement it looms over

  • Can't zoom during narration

  • Avoiding text overflow in notification

  • Prevent building collapse in creative mode
