New experimental patch for version 1.1

We are getting close to a finalized version of 1.1 and we will be making one last experimental build before the final release. This one is more about adding some small finishing touches.

As before you can access this experimental version by doing the following:

  • Open your Steam library

  • Right click the game in your game list

  • Click Properties

  • Click Game Versions & Betas

  • Toggle the "experimental" version.

Here's what we have added in 1.1.11:

Features

  • New building textures and art

  • Water movement happens by clear increment of one block to avoid uncomfortable in between states

  • Regenerated one of the procedural world, if a save was made using it, it will no longer be openable

Tweaks

  • Balancing - More strikers when there is no district center, less strikers when no Forum

  • Balancing - Removed some of the more annoying district goals

  • New menu scene

  • Depth of focus blur looks better in "Highest" and "High" graphic setting

  • Some minor copy fixes

Bug fixes

  • Bug fix - Edge scrolling (moving the world by placing your mouse against a screen edge) no longer happens if the player is dragging the world with right mouse button

  • Bug fix - Link between spires appears again in the end game

  • Bug fix - Don't show text bumps when the item overview of policy screen is opened

  • Bug fix - District center not red during narration

  • Bug fix - During the tutorial, don't show tooltip for when hovering the area where items normally are

  • Bug fix - Subject movement is correct when working

  • Bug fix - Position the fps warning better

  • Bug fix - Fixed issue with world grass sometimes not appearing under certain angles in certain procedural world

  • Bug fix - Trees properly turn red when hovering over a building with the destruction tool

  • Bug fix - Trees are no longer sunken in the ground in the preview

  • Bug fix - Forum is fully visible when opening the policy screen

  • Bug fix - Avoid clicking on buttons when in panoramic mode
