Hey there! The 0.2.1 update is out! This update includes a few major bug fixes as well as something new. New Item Anxiety pills is a new item that can be found in the maze.

addedHey there! The 0.2.1 update is out! This update includes a few major bug fixes as well as something new.
addedNew ItemAnxiety pills is a new item that can be found in the maze. It has the ability to remove all of your negative effects, but be aware that it has a 15% chance to not remove a negative effect.
addedPoppet Manifestation AdditionThere is a new addition to the poppet manifestation - the small guys that spawn in the cardboard boxes in the small room. They now can escape from their room and be able to roam around the maze. But they are very shy, they'll hide as soon as you see them.
fixedBug FixesFixed a bug where the poppets would ignore whether the player is invulnerable or not. This caused that even players with the invulnerable effect were able to be damaged from the poppet manifestation. Another significant bug fix is for the mannequin manifestation not attacking the player when the player would look away multiple times, confusing the game system. This was a bad thing because you even get an achievement for getting attacked by the manifestation! The final bug fix is for another manifestation - the one that can be provoked by incorrectly solving puzzles, or so it was thought that it can be provoked. There was put a system in place that put a cooldown on the provoking, but it turns out it put a cooldown so long that it almost won't get provoked at all!

I'm also currently experimenting with a newer version of Unity - the game engine used to develop this game. If I was be able to port the game to the newest Unity 6, even though it is a preview version, I think the game would greatly benefit from the new features. The only problem is that, well, it is a preview version and preview versions are somewhat not as stable as the normal ones.

New Item

Poppet Manifestation Addition

Expansion Pouch Visual

When equipping an expansion pouch, there is now a visual that will be displayed for you and other players, hinting at the fact that you're wearing an expansion pouch.

  • Added a visual when a player has one or two expansion pouches equipped.

  • The poppet manifestation will now appear in various places when it escapes from one of the rooms.

  • Some optimizations to .save files that make them a little bit smaller.

  • Fixed a bug where the poppet manifestations would target invulnerable players.

  • Fixed a bug where the mannequin manifestation would bug out and not attack the player.

  • Fixed a bug where one of the manifestations was not able to be provoked properly.

  • Other small fixes and improvements.
