Devlog #5: The Lost Hotel

And because I love the change of seasons, Halloween and Christmas so much, that's exactly what you'll find in the garden of the Lodestar Hotel: four seasons, all at the same time, and a farming system where you can sow and tend to different seeds and seedlings in planters.

Of course, there is a lot for you to do as a hotelier first, because the garden is not in good condition. There are two garden sheds with tools, and a gardening robot is waiting to be restored to working order with your expertise in electronics to help you with your gardening.

Little by little, the garden can be restored to its former glory and various plants can be planted. Care must be taken to ensure that the seeds are sown in the right area. Exotic plants such as a pineapple-like fruit or the Quoquonut palm tree can only be sown and harvested in the summer area on the beach.

Harvested plants can then either be taken to the kitchen and cooked in recipes, or combined with other ingredients in the laboratory.

With a glowing Plasmashroom and a beautifully gloomy Dusky Pumpkin, you can create a spooky Glowy Halloween Pumpkin.

And to add a little Christmas spirit, I've developed a Starfruit Tree that can be planted in the dark forest area.

Speaking of cooking, repairing and researching in the laboratory: there are six skills that can be trained. With each new level, you unlock new abilities. It's a good thing you're in a time loop and have all the time in the world, right?

So what ingredients do we have for a cozy gaming experience? Slow gameplay, customizing, farming, cooking, researching, socializing, NPCs with individual lore, atmosphere, mini-games, skill training... what else is missing?

Oh yes: a pet. And fishing.
