view This post provides an update on the improvement items announced in the Steam News on December 12, which we aimed to address within approximately one month.

Based on bug reports and feedback we received from players, we have been prioritizing stability improvements and overall gameplay experience.

■ Crash and Freeze Fixes

We have identified and fixed the causes of the following three issues:

  • Crashes caused by duplicate instances of the same character existing in the world → We fixed one of the causes leading to duplication and implemented a safe process to automatically remove one instance if duplicate characters already existed in older save data.

  • Crashes caused by corrupted diplomacy data → The data structure was redesigned, and an automatic repair process is now executed on game startup.

  • An issue where the game could forcibly close when a siege / defense battle ended after 30 days → This issue has been fixed.

We will continue investigating other potential causes of crashes and freezes beyond the cases listed above.

■ Issue Where Victories Are Not Properly Recognized

We have received multiple reports of this issue; however, the exact conditions under which it occurs have not yet been identified. We will continue investigating this issue with high priority and apply fixes as soon as the cause is determined.

■ Improvements to Lord Orders

  • Adjustments to the frequency and logic of lord-issued orders were implemented for certain cases on December 17.

  • When an order is overwritten before its deadline due to decisions made by a king or lord, the UI now displays that players receive merit points and affinity proportional to the progress they had made.

On the other hand, we have received reports of the following issue:

  • Orders immediately fail on the day after they are issued, followed by an endless chain of new orders.

This issue is still under investigation. It may be related to long continuous play sessions. If this occurs, stopping the game and restarting from the most recent auto-save may resolve the issue.

■ Issue Where War Is Declared Between the Same Nation

We fixed a bug where combat triggered by a guild debt-collection request against an NPC belonging to the same nation as the player could result in a war between the same nation. Since this fix, we have not received further reports of this issue.

■ Improvements to Combat and Attack Conditions

  • We revised the attack conditions for NPCs targeted by orders and quests, allowing objectives to be completed in a less stressful manner.

  • Issues such as being unable to attack when morale is at zero have also been addressed.

■ Character Creation and World Settings

The following features have been fully implemented:

  • Protagonist portrait replacement

  • Protagonist gender selection in Campaign Mode

Customization of character ability values is still under consideration, with careful attention to balancing freedom and game balance.

Additionally, the option to:

  • Start Sandbox Mode in the same world as a Campaign save

has also been implemented.

■ UI / UX Improvements

The following features have been added:

  • Conversation log viewing

  • Ability to pause with the space key during auto-movement on the field

  • Cloud save support

This concludes our current progress report. While not all issues have been fully resolved, our top priority remains ensuring a stable and enjoyable gameplay experience, and we will continue making improvements.

In addition to the items listed above, we have released many other updates aimed at improving comfort and usability based on player feedback. Please refer to individual update notes for further details. view view view view
