Updates
Added a feature that, when the player is the King, displays the rebellion risk of vassal factions and the values used as its basis
Added a feature where the King’s Influence is consumed when the dynasty faction directly governs territories
Added a feature to view NPC impression values toward the player / faction / nation
Added a feature to view territory impression values toward the player / faction / nation
Added a new action that lets you spread good/bad rumors to any NPC or the people of a territory, allowing you to influence impression values toward characters, factions, nations, and cultures
In this update, we have significantly adjusted the gameplay feel—mainly through the impression and influence systems—to address the current situation in nation management where the optimal decision has become:"If you grant territories to vassal factions, they will eventually rebel, so it’s best not to give them any land."
Which vassals’ impression values should you control?
When should you exercise Influence?
What decisions should you make to reliably accumulate Influence?
We believe these elements will add more depth and enjoyment to nation management. In addition, even for independent factions and ronin who are not directly involved in governing a nation, using Influence at key moments may help reduce the World Collapse level. Please try out different playstyles, and we would be grateful if you continue to share your feedback with us.
Balance Adjustments
When the player belongs to a nation as a vassal, and that nation acquires a newly obtained territory the player has not visited yet, the territory will now be displayed on the map.
Adjusted random NPC spawns after year 900 so that more younger generations appear.
In the “Bandit Extermination” guild request, changed the completion rules so that if you are unable to attack due to reasons such as morale being zero, the request can still be completed under conditions equivalent to the “Unit Attack Order.”
Adjusted widescreen monitor gameplay so that background images maintain their aspect ratio and are displayed with vertical cropping (top/bottom) as needed.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the “Expected Change” value shown in the income/expense panel at the bottom-right of the screen was inaccurate immediately after loading.
Fixed an issue where diplomatic data could become corrupted in unexpected situations, and added a function to automatically repair data even if inconsistencies occur due to other causes.
Fixed an issue where you could move to facilities within a territory while talking to an NPC, which would cancel the conversation event.
Fixed an issue where some sound effects did not reflect the volume settings.
