Updates
Introduction of the "Pincer" System
On the battlefield, blue grids are displayed on the ground beneath allied soldiers and red grids beneath enemies.
When one side flanks the other's grid, soldiers within the flanked grid enter a "Pincer" state and the ground flashes yellow.
In this state, attacks from any direction deal heavy damage, equivalent to a parry state.
In large-scale battles involving multiple commanders, if several units attempt to pincer an entire enemy force from opposite directions, all soldiers on the surrounded side enter the "Pincer" state, potentially causing their fighting strength to collapse at once.
Positioning, formations, and who arrives on the battlefield from where are now more important than ever.
Introduction of the "Combat Arts" System
Approximately 30 types of diverse "Combat Arts" across Levels 1-5 have been introduced. Players gradually learn them by winning battles, befriending NPCs, and meeting other conditions.
NPCs start with some Combat Arts already learned, and gradually acquire more by winning battles, growing stronger over time.
Combat Arts range from special attacks like cavalry charges and battering rams, to various buffs and debuffs such as stealing enemy food supplies or increasing allied march speed.
Each has its own duration, cooldown, and usage limits.
Depending on compatibility with enemy commanders' arts and the timing of use, every battle will feel different and more varied than before.
Introduction of Facility Demolition
To address the issue of falling into deficit when receiving territories with high maintenance costs from your lord, you can now demolish constructed facilities.
Once demolished, facilities must be rebuilt from scratch, which takes time.
Adjustments
Adjusted Conditions for Vassal "Declaration of War Proposals"
Adjusted so that proposals are made by more appropriate characters at more appropriate times, taking into account the vassal's intellect, the power balance between nations, and other factors.
Unique flavor text for each town is now displayed at the bottom of the territory UI, enhancing the sense of the world's depth.
Adjusted the design of some icons for better visibility.
Polish for Chinese localization.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where button hit areas could shift in fullscreen mode.
Fixed an infinite loop issue that could occur when an NPC attempted to purchase food.
Implemented many other minor bug fixes.
