Tenebris: Terra Incognita changes
We are pleased to announce the release of a major game update called “Creatures of the Bloody Crater” This is the second major update, which significantly expands and improves key game systems. We are confident that it will open up new horizons for you in the world of Tenebris.
Let's get to the main content: below is a list of changes made in the latest update. It is important to note that this list is not exhaustive. Many innovations and improvements have been intentionally omitted or described only in general terms to maintain intrigue and not reveal all the details.
MAIN
This update is compatible with old saves and does NOT require you to start a new game. However, some new mechanics will only be available when starting a new game, so ultimately it is up to you to decide whether to start a new game or continue the old one.
New location: The update continues the story. Players will explore a giant crater inhabited by unique fauna and flora. Eight new story missions await you.
New monsters: You will encounter five new enemies and two new bosses, each with their own unique mechanics.
New interface: We have redesigned the game interface to get rid of the “mobile” feel. Now the game looks more stylish, and, more importantly, these changes have affected the very essence of the gameplay, making the game more comfortable. We plan to refine and polish individual elements of the interface.
Hero biographies: All heroes now have their own combination of perks that affect the gameplay specifically for each hero. This innovation will bring uniqueness to each member of your team.
New soundtracks: We are actively working on the game's musical design, including the addition of new tracks. The variety of musical accompaniment will increase throughout the development process.
Balance: We have worked on the game's balance and re-balanced many elements. Monsters have been weakened in the “Easy Walk” game difficulty. Some monsters and bosses have been re-balanced.
Intro: An intro will now appear when you start a new game!
Custom difficulty: Customizable game difficulty is now available, allowing you to flexibly adapt the gameplay to your personal preferences.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Over the next month, we will quickly fix any bugs and make the necessary balance changes. Please feel free to share your feedback — we read every message carefully!
We are also starting work on the third and final update, which will be the release version 1.0!
The next update will include:
10 new level 21+ heroes, 2 for each archetype, each with their own new talent tree and unique mechanics.
A new biome with its own enemies has been added!
Legendary and mythical equipment has been added.
Ship compartment upgrades have been partially reworked.
Weather phenomena and related effects have finally been implemented (we didn't have time to get them to a presentable state in this update).
The game interface has been polished to perfection.

When is the release date?
We plan to release the game by the end of May 2026.
