Development Update 21 - Mech Suit with it's own Equipment and Armor Parts

Hi, this time I'm working on the Mech Suit logic. Mainly inventory and equipment, right now I have added logic for switching Mech suit armor parts and equipping separate weapons for the Mech suit.

addedAdded new Mech Suit Naked body parts. Added logic for assigning Mech Parts Mesh from inventory.
addedPrepared base for adding mech part as new inventory items, to show in the paperdoll UI screen and for mech stat calculations.
changedUpdated paperdoll logic to show Mech Suit. Updating Mech Suit logic to show weapons when suit is not equipped.
addedChanged Nav mesh generation settings. Updated Mech animations for better weapon rotation. Adding stat calculation from equipped Mech parts.

  • Added new Mech Suit Naked body parts. Added logic for assigning Mech Parts Mesh from inventory.

  • Prepared base for adding mech part as new inventory items, to show in the paperdoll UI screen and for mech stat calculations.

  • Updating paperdoll scene capture logic to work with Mech suit

  • Updated paperdoll logic to show Mech Suit. Updating Mech Suit logic to show weapons when suit is not equipped.

  • Changed Nav mesh generation settings. Updated Mech animations for better weapon rotation. Adding stat calculation from equipped Mech parts.

  • Added separated item stats for Mech and updated logic calculation for some of the stats.

  • Added new Mech suit value calculations from item to all stats. Started adding separate weapon mesh spawn for mech and main body.

  • Added logic for Equipping separate weapons for main body and Mech Suit. Updated paperdoll logic to handle separated player instances.

  • Updated attack speed stat switch for mech weapons. Added Mech stat reset when recalculating equipment.

  • Updated Turn in place logic and smoother laser pointer targeting while standing still. Fixing snapping rotation issue.

  • Turned off Aim offset logic. Updated Character movement speed logic for mech and body. Retargeted new locomotion animations for Paladin. Updated mech and body animation scale rate to better match footsteps. Fixed Paperdoll overlaying non hit windows issue. Thank you for reading this Dev Update, and I will see you in the next one :)
