Development Update 14 - Character skill updates

Hi, another week and another batch of updates are in the game, this time I was updating existing character skills that are in the game and one of the bigger logics that I have added was skill targeting, now some skills

addedHi, another week and another batch of updates are in the game, this time I was updating existing character skills that are in the game and one of the bigger logics that I have added was skill targeting, now some skills are targeted skills in which you activate the skill, target the specific area, and confirm or cancel the skill use.
addedAdded more sounds to UI Panels. Updated some skill attacks logic to not hit an enemy multiple times when it's not enabled. Updated skill Needle logic to better target enemies. Added base for fake characters shadows.
addedUpdated Dash and special dagger attack logic for finding a final place to dash to. Changed Behemoth animation offset for locomotion anims. Added fake shadows beneath enemies and hero. Removed cast shadows from enemy models. Added camera fade for enviro floor assets.
addedAdded new Dash Roll animation. Updated dash logic to better check if a character is dashing to the front or backwards. Updated Overlay interact material. Added logic to fade enemy health bars at a certain distance from the player to decrees visual clutter.

  • Updated targeting skill logic (Attack or Special attack wont start immediately after canceling or using targeting skill). Reworked targeting for Cursed Hearthbeat skill. Added new sounds and visuals for Cursed Hearthbeat skill.

  • Added new skill mesh and animations. Updated Cursed Hearthbeat skill location targeting.

  • Updated visuals and added new sounds for Needle Skill. Updated visuals for Spider drones skill. Updated assets collisions.

  • Updated Spider Drone skill visuals and added new sounds.
