That number is still surreal.

When this project started, the goal was simple: build the RTS roguelike we always wanted to play. Seeing 67,000 of you raise your hands and say “yeah, I want that” means more than we can properly put into words. Thank you so much!

Now that we've surpassed 60,000 wishlists it's a time for a new community faction vote!

60K Milestone = New Community Faction Vote

The next Community Chooses Faction vote is now LIVE.

Voting is live now in our Discord and ends March 8th. The winning faction will be playable in the full release of Tabletop Tavern!

You can vote for:

The Infestation: A plague-ridden host of corruption and decay.

A writhing tide of diseased monstrosities and rats the size of men. Think overwhelming numbers, infection mechanics, relentless pressure, and battlefield chaos.

If you want to drown your enemies in filth and fury… this is your pick.

Olympian Phalanx: Steel, discipline, and myth.

Spartans. Hoplites. Shield walls that do not break. Minotaurs and creatures pulled straight from Greek legend.

This faction is about formation warfare, precision tactics, and heroic last stands.

If you want disciplined brutality with mythological power behind it, this is your army.

Revenants of Anubis: Death is not the end. It’s the beginning.

The undead legions of the Egyptian underworld. Skeleton ranks. Mummified elites. Falcon-headed warriors channeling ancient power.

This faction leans into resurrection, inevitability, and relentless pressure from beyond the grave.

Recent Changes & Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with ranged squads not targeting a new squad when guard mode was off and autocharge target was on

  • Rewrote all unit targeting logic for squads so they use the new queue commands system. This should fix

  • Properly shows attack arrows when auto charge is on

  • Properly displays enemy range

  • Might have fixed the issue with ranged units charging into melee with this as I cant recreate it anymore but willing to look into if it happens again to anyone

  • Fixed an issue with unit kills not showing up post battle

  • Fixed an issue with rapidly spamming queued orders resulting in unresponsive squads

  • Improved selection highlight indication on unit cards in battle

  • Fixed an issue where units hit by artillery would become unkillable

  • Increased prebattle logging to better understand unkillable units bug

  • Fixed a crash caused by hovering over unit cards in map before loading into battle

What’s Next?

Next Fest is coming to an end and we couldn't be more happy with how its gone. We've received a mountain of feedback and we'll be going over it in the coming weeks! Thank you all for trying the demo during Next Fest and leaving your feedback, we'll be back soon with updates on what we're prioritizing next as well as release date plans.
