We've been reading through all the feedback and suggestions you've been sending our way — seriously, thank you. A lot of you have also been asking when we'd share a more detailed look at where Survival Log is headed. Well, today's the day.

What follows is our current plan for the full release — the big picture of what we're working toward. It's worth noting that this is very much a living document. Things will shift, get reordered, or evolve as development progresses and as we hear more from you. We'll also be dropping dev logs from time to time to keep you in the loop on what we're up to and where things stand.

With that said, let's crack it open!

Building Your Doomsday Safehouse

  • A full furniture purchasing and renovation system — make the space yours.

  • Expanded crafting recipes and tools — more ways to turn junk into survival essentials.

  • A complete electrical and energy management system — wire it up, power it on, keep it running.

More Than Just Surviving

  • Indoor farming and crop production — grow your own food without stepping outside.

  • Cooking and advanced food systems — because canned beans get old fast.

  • Survivor interaction mechanics — you're not the only one out there.

A Bigger World to Explore

  • New safehouse areas: basement and rooftop terrace — expand vertically.

  • Pre-disaster locations: renovation company, farmers' market, used car lot, gas station supply shop — scavenge before it all went wrong.

  • Post-disaster exploration maps: abandoned supermarket, central hospital, ruined school campus — pick through the wreckage.

Different Roles, Different Lives

  • New playable characters: college student / warehouse keeper / military veteran — each with their own strengths.

  • Unique starting maps: cozy apartment / warehouse dormitory / fortified shelter — your background shapes your beginning.

  • A main survival storyline spanning nearly 100 days, with branching endings.

  • An upgraded Survival Log system that tracks every critical decision you make.

Push the Limits

  • More crisis types and random events — the world doesn't play fair.

  • Custom scenario mode — dial in your own challenge.

  • Endless survival mode — see how long you can last.

We'll continue tuning and polishing based on your feedback. Between now and the next time we check in, we'll be hammering away at performance improvements and overall gameplay feel.

Got ideas, suggestions, or something you'd love to see in the game? Drop them in the comments — we read everything, and your input genuinely shapes where this goes next.

Thanks to everyone who's been with us on this journey!
