Survival Log changes
Thank you all for your continued support and enthusiastic feedback during Steam Next Fest! By watching your gameplay videos and reading your comments, we’ve noticed that the current version still has several issues in interaction clarity and animation flow.
Today’s hotfix therefore focuses on interaction optimization and smoother character movement. Details below:
Version
0.0.0.3.812
Update Details
Visual & Interaction Improvements
New Furniture Function Icons We’ve added brand-new interaction icons for furniture. Important functions are now clearly visible at a glance — no more digging through pure text menus to figure things out.
Event Objective Highlighting Required facility options for special events will now appear with clear highlight indicators, making random events more intuitive and easier to complete.
Post-Disaster Time Display Optimization We’ve adjusted the in-game clock display after the disaster. The constantly ticking “stopwatch-like” seconds have been removed to reduce visual stress and make time feel more readable.
Controls & Core Optimization
Movement Logic Refactor We’ve significantly improved the protagonist’s movement logic, fully fixing the stuttering and sluggishness that occurred during rapid direction changes. Movement and animation transitions should now feel much smoother.
Shop Responsiveness Improved Optimized the shop’s underlying logic, greatly improving the smoothness and speed when opening the shop interface.
Mechanics & Guidance Adjustments
New Power Distribution Box A new “Power Distribution Box” facility has been added to the house. When facing a blackout, you no longer need to run to the window to fix it.
Prologue Guidance Optimization Improved the tutorial prompts during the prologue for clearer and more intuitive guidance.
Highlight Fix Fixed an issue where some shelves were not properly highlighted.
Seeing the wishlist numbers grow each day both motivates and pressures our small three-person team. Every piece of feedback about clunky interactions, awkward controls, or survival balance concerns is something we’re actively working to address.
Due to our limited team size, some larger system-level changes will take time. However, we are continuously fixing issues that can be improved quickly and will maintain a high update frequency as we steadily refine the overall experience.
Wishing you successful hoarding!
