Survival Log changes
This update focuses on improving exploration controls and overall world atmosphere, while further reducing certain survival pressures to provide a smoother gameplay experience.
Version
0.0.0.3.805
Control & Handling Upgrades
Quick Restart
Added a new Skip Prologue option! Players with an existing save file can now choose to skip the opening story when creating a new character and jump straight into a fresh survival run.
Drone Evolution
Extended the drone’s battery life and added new control functionality. You can now move the drone using keyboard inputs to observe different areas.
Improved Responsiveness
Optimized ground click detection for character movement and improved camera dragging. Enhanced the visual feedback when adding new actions to the behavior queue.
Furniture Functionality
Added a secondary confirmation when selecting “Dismantle Freezer,” and improved functional description texts for certain furniture items.
Survival Experience Improvements
Storage Optimization Shelf weight capacity has been increased again, and a small number of initial miscellaneous items have been added to home cabinets, making the early game start more comfortable.
Overtime Penalty Adjustment The “Hasty Escape” status triggered when failing to return home before the disaster has been weakened, increasing the fault tolerance of hoarding strategies.
Crafting Efficiency Boost Reduced the time required for manual crafting at the workbench.
Enhanced World Immersion
Street Atmosphere Improved the visual presentation of outdoor streets. Before the disaster, a small number of vehicles can be seen driving by. After the disaster, a few zombies will randomly wander the streets, creating a more tense post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
Information & Narrative Optimized location information prompts and overall presentation on the pre-disaster map, and refined the clock-based narrative elements.
Stability Fixes
Underlying Optimization Improved environmental detection logic to prevent slower computers from being mistakenly flagged as having incompatible controls.
Save Issue Fix Fixed a rare issue where an autosave conflict could cause the post-disaster scene to load with a blue-screen-like missing environment.
Thank you for your continued support!
