Sublight Demo Patch Notes – Sublight Demo 0.16.5 The Frigates and Fighters rework
This patch should be available shortly (if not already), a game restart and steam update will be required.
Changes
- FightersThe Default tier 1 fighter has had its model updated and renamed to the "SF/I Talon" Added 2 new Fighter Tiers as direct upgrades. Each providing more firepower and speed. SF/A Raptor SSF Shrike
- FrigatesMoved to a new separate weapon system called Escorts. Frigates now flank the player acting as close range support. The Default tier 1 Frigate has been moved to Rare and renamed to the "Stalwart Frigate" A new tier 2 Frigate the "Shepard Frigate" has been added as an upgrade sporting a new weapon type.
The Explanded fighter bay upgrade is now epic quality from rare.
HESH warheads upgrade has been disabled until I find a way to balance giving every weapon explodes.
- RailgunsRailguns will need additional work, but for now a general increase in damage should help them feel like a better choice. Railgun damage increased from 100 -> 225 Dual Railgun damage increased from 100 -> 225 Mass Driver damage increased from 200 -> 350 Sabre Centreline Railgun damage increased from 200 -> 400
Added a new Updates tab to read the latest announcements in game.
You can now place turrets by clicking from the Level-up interface/ Shop interface to the slot you want.
Fixes
Fixed issues with chests showing the wrong price & sometimes getting disabled.
Reduced the particles in the explosion VFX's
Known Issues
Some users are reporting some performance issues, try checking the unlimited FPS setting for now but I'll continue to look into performance checks.

Next patch will add new balance changes for enemies, new boss mechanics & a leaderboard reset
