Sprint City changes
The time has come! We’re launching Sprint City into Early Access. After a ton of hard work, we’re happy with the foundation we’ve built, and from here on out, we want to shape Sprint City together with you.
A special thank you to everyone who has already tried out the game in a playtest and helped us get to this point!
To celebrate, you can grab the game at 20% off for the next 14 days.
[dynamiclink href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/4191250/Sprint_City/"]We’ve also just released our Early Access launch trailer. Check it out below to get a taste of what Sprint City is all about:
About Sprint City
If you didn’t know, some of us previously worked on SpeedRunners, and a lot of that DNA lives on in Sprint City. It’s all about speed, smooth movement, and, most importantly, having fun with your friends.
That said, we also wanted to try some new things this time around. Here’s why you should jump in:
Super-fast 2D races with up to 7 friends + they can play with you for free!
Time Trials with worldwide leaderboards
Daily challenges to test your skills
Custom challenges with shareable codes and URLs
An open map that will expand as we build toward 1.0
A brand-new mode: Clockout, where time is your health
Character customization
And we’re open to your suggestions on what to add next (join our Discord!)
What to Expect from Early Access
We have plenty of ideas: more game modes, new areas, additional power-ups, but before locking anything in, we want to hear from you.
That’s why we’re holding off on a full roadmap for now. We’re a small team, and instead of spending time building features no one asked for, we’d rather focus on what you want most.
So play the game, let us know what you love (or don’t), and help shape the future of Sprint City.
Jump In Now!
To celebrate the launch, we’re hosting a week of challenges starting tomorrow, with some awesome prizes up for grabs.
Each day, one of our devs has created a special challenge. The player with the best score on that challenge wins a prize tied to that day. Thanks to our friends at HyperX, some days also feature HyperX Origins 2 65 keyboards as rewards.
To be eligible for prizes, please join us on Discord. We need to be able to contact you!
Here’s the schedule:
On the final day, the winner will get to design their own challenge, which will be playable in Sprint City indefinitely!
Found a Bug or Issue?
If you run into any bugs or issues, please join us on Discord or start a discussion in the Steam Hub. We’ll be tracking known issues and fixes in a dedicated Steam discussion.
See you in the City!
