Spingenuity changes
The day has arrived! Spingenuity officially launches today at 12 PM EST.
This marks the full release of the game, featuring a few hours of gameplay and the foundation for what I plan to expand much further in the future. As a solo indie developer, this is my first major project, and I’m incredibly proud to have made it this far.
Major Update Coming Soon
Development is already moving toward a major technical overhaul. I’ve been rebuilt the rendering pipeline and moved the game from native Java rendering to OpenGL. The performance improvements are significant, but the transition has required reworking many existing systems.
While this slowed development, it will make the game far more stable, scalable, and maintainable in the long run. I’ll be sharing more details (along with screenshots) very soon.
A Note to Early Supporters
If you decide to support the game now and feel the content is still growing or encounter issues, please bear with me. I’m actively working on updates and plan to continue expanding the game with free content updates. Early support makes a huge difference for a solo developer and helps ensure the game can keep growing.
Thank you to everyone who gives Spingenuity a chance.
