New Features:

  • One suprise I will not mention here!

  • Two Bounty Hunter Quests were added! One thief quest was added.

  • Quests can have some cinematic camera views

  • Simple quest log to keep track of quests and ability to switch current quest, so the objective is displayed, (but you can work on multiple quests at the same time anyway.)

  • New Tunning Screwdriver lets you see some basic info about device inputs and outputs and some under the hood variables, just by looking at the part(only parts that are pickable)

  • New diagnostic device helps you see values of data array and basic values inside devices( at this point it shows all variables, even the ones the observed part doesn't use).

New Items:

  • Laser gun, shoots individual shots, each shot has a cooldown. (Cannot be depleted or recharged at this point)

  • Garbage bin, and it has new unique ability to accept items just by impact, but only when hitted from top, and when the item is small enough (this function will be later added to others if applicable)

  • Added some stone tools using sticks for handles (for now they look the same as thatch ones, not part of the tutorial )

  • New Shirt and new female simple dress

Improvements:

  • Quest system was expanded, Quest can remove, or teleport ships orcontrol ships or give commands to pilots. Qests can go back in the progress when there was some failure. I made for myself lot of quest icons so the whole proces for me is intuitive.

  • NPCs without active quest can be asked about ships and how they are are used. or About jobs in the area, (If you think something should be added there tell me please.)

  • Pilot school Tutorial quest was added to Space testing map. it's aimed for totally new players or pilots. (I strongly welcome feedback on this, thanks)

  • Pilot controls list was improved with tutorial highlights and greyed out controls that cannot be used in the tutorial

  • Pilot controls list now has better representation of the unusual controls of rotation/orientetian.

  • Pilot movement controls can switch between slow and regular movement speed by shift, (it should simulate the ability to control levers lightly but now on keyboard)

  • Seat camera has limits to horizontal angle and camera is reset when Third Person View ends.

  • Fuel Station was slightly enlarged, but unfortunetly, there are no other building improvements,

  • I improved the cargo ship on it's inside, I would like to have much more ships, but there is a problem that each change or improvement requires manual editting of all ships I have.

Changes:

  • Tuning is no longer done with special keybord key, you need new Tuning or diagnostic Tool(use it as other hand tools)

  • Since NPCs are often very important, they cannot die, they go into coma when defeated (temporary solution)

  • You can opperate control parts when carrying body (it doesn make much sense, but it was super annoying when going through air locks)

Bugs Fixed:

  • Equipped tool item was cloned when storage containing that tool was removed from character's slot. (Now the item is auto unequipped)

  • Moving equiped tool item from one storage to another, cloned the tool, or caused other problems.(Now the item is auto unequipped)

  • NPCs were often doing subtle leg movement when just standing

  • NPCs were often turning the wrong way, when it would be faster to turn the opposite direction

  • Esc in dialog doesn't go to menu anymore, it was causing problems. Esc does nothing now

  • Seat had wrong interaction hitbox, making it hard to sit

  • Floor textures and button icons had shifted textures when rust data was present

  • Crouching close next to an obstacle no longer blocks un-crounching action.

Preformance:

I rewrote co C++ some performance heavy parts of the character logic, but there is more of the characters on the map now,
