The new cards added include new archetypes such as bleed and poison with smaller sets to help you in your adventure.

addedEnemy ReworkWe felt the enemies were too stale. In the end, it became too much of the same thing and we wanted to completely rework that. We want to make you feel challenged. Enemies are more adaptive in how they battle you, rewarding players who know the enemy mechanics. This makes sure each run is completely different and a more unique experience. Bosses have also been reworked, with a new skills and interactions.
addedStory TutorialA tutorial has been added for when you first enter the game. We wanted to build out the lore of the characters while also providing a smooth entrance for new comers to Shogun Curse. Dialogue and interactions with certain characters have also been fleshed out to enhance the Shogun lore.
addedSound RevampAudio and sound needed a big rework! So we overhauled the entire system and made a big improvement to sound and music have been added!
addedNew Unlock SystemTo ease progression in Shogun Curse, you can unlock new cards and relics simply by playing and progressing in the game. Each character also has character specific relics and involved additional deck balancing and changes.

Complete Art Rework

UI, UX, VFX all things art have been revamped across the board.

Enemy Rework

We felt the enemies were too stale. In the end, it became too much of the same thing and we wanted to completely rework that. We want to make you feel challenged. New Unlock System

To ease progression in Shogun Curse, you can unlock new cards and relics simply by playing and progressing in the game. Each character also has character specific relics and involved additional deck balancing and changes.

Corruption System

Corruption system was completely revamped. Instead of a static progression, we have changed the buff and debuffs applied on each corruption level for both the players and enemies. Not for the faint hearted. It is extremely hard, you have been warned.

Endless Mode

Once you get to the end of the campaign run you will be offered the chance to keep playing to see how powerful you truly are. Did you really create the best deck? How far into the endless abyss can you go?
