Hello everyone!

As a regular content drop, I've added a new Enemy!

The Clockblocker

Steam post image

This big fellow has the ability to stop your firepower from the front whilst showering you with slow bullets. His current rotation radius is slow and I'll most likely triple it on the next patch or so. Also he's a little squishy if you hit him from the back or sides.

A few patch notes:

  • Clockblocker as mentioned

  • The Ship Leveling system now affects all stats and those stats are now made public on the player card found at the Ship Selection, Escape Menu and Game Over screen. Still iterating on balance for that one

  • Balance pass: You're more likely to survive now but greed and hubris will still kill you more often than not

  • Added some lightweight shaders to enemies, they look a bit better

  • Worked a few optimizations here and there, still committed with maintaining a smooth 60 FPS and not conforming with less

  • Improved the background a bit

  • Many, many bugfixes (hopefully more bugs squashed than introduced!)

What's next (loosely):

  • I'm aware without many unlocks the card rotation might end too soon, looking for ways to improve on that

  • Maybe a new music track?

  • A new player ship is in the works! It'll be preeetty gimmicky.

As always, thank you!

Nacho
