A major redesign of the Production Details panel foundation

This update is a big one! Version 0.0.5 brings a complete redesign of the Production Details panel — cleaner, more animated, and far more self-explanatory. This redesign isn’t just visual: it lays the groundwork for the upcoming features, which will expand production in future updates.

This was a very intense piece of work, touching many systems behind the scenes. More refinements, optimizations, and UI polish will follow in the next updates.

New Features & Improvements

  • Worker contribution is now fully visible. You can finally see how much each worker adds to the production output.

  • Auto-Assign workers (after researching the “Organized Workforce” tech). People can be automatically placed into buildings at the end of the day.

  • Production progress is clearer than ever. The UI now shows how work units are split, accumulated, and consumed.

  • Production boosts now show their impact directly. You can see how enhancements and building boosts affect output.

  • Building upgrades reworked. Each upgrade now has its own cost and requires time, instead of being instant.

  • New building statistics panel.

    You can now view key metrics such as:

    – Best worker assigned

    – Most produced resource

    – Total resources produced

    – Total work units spent

  • Building enhancements (boosts) can auto-assign themselves once enabled.

  • A new Help button opens an in-game explanation window about how production works.

This redesign is also the allows to implement the Animal Husbandry, which will use the same system.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Barter Hall resource numbers went out of sync with the bottom bar.

  • The bottom resource bar is now horizontally scrollable, allowing more resources to be tracked.

  • Fixed several typos in perk descriptions.

  • Fixed an issue where rewards were granted even when a production quest failed.

  • Added a speculative fix for a behavior where buildings didn’t become buildable even when all requirements were met.

🔧 General Improvements

  • Buildings can now be deleted even while under construction (previously was not possible).

  • Renamed the XP multiplier labels for clarity.

  • Rebalanced productionFish and Meat output increased . More fine-tuning will follow.
  • Feast quests now have a higher chance of bringing new settlers to help reduce settlement worker shortages.

🪶 Final Notes

Version 0.0.5 brings one of the most complex rewrites so far, rebuilding the Production Details panel into something clearer, more dynamic, and ready for the systems that come next.
