With that out of the way, here's the full changelog for PreBeta 2026.2.0:

GENERAL ADDITIONS AND CHANGES:

  • Added Linux and SteamOS Support!

  • Added Rise Coins! This new currency will be used to purchase cosmetics and boosters, and only cosmetics/boosters. Rise Coins can be earned by playing the game. The different ways to earn these are getting multikills and killstreaks, completing rounds in Moshpit, achievement hunting, and completing/winning PvP matches (which will be doubled when 2XP is active.)

  • Overhauled Customization Menu! This new menu will now show each customization piece, alongside its cost. Achievement cosmetics will cost more than the rest, ranging from 500 Rise Coins or more depending on what it is. Normal Facial Expressions will cost 100 Rise Coins, Normal Outerwear and Hats will cost 200 Rise Coins. Click on the icon once to buy it, and again to equip it.

  • Added NEW Max Rank Achievement and Reward! Once you reach Prestige Noble 1, you acquire the Noble Reaper Achievement and 11000 Rise Coins, which can be used to purchase the Reaper Hat, and some other cosmetics.

  • Updated Scoreboard to show you your Rise Coins balance.

  • Customization options (except for colors) are now synced with Steam! Please note that this will reset your customization options that were previously selected. This will not apply to colors at this time, but might in the future.

  • Updated spawn point positions on ALL Player VS Player maps so they are not as close to each other as they were before.

SANDBOX ADDITIONS AND CHANGES:

  • Added NEW Weapon: PB7 Plasma Blaster / This unique projectile-based weapon offers 2 modes of operation: Semi-Auto (Normal Fire), and Charge Blast (Hold Aim until it shoots). Semi-Auto firing deals less damage, but can break shields in 2 shots, and kill in 3-4 shots with an insanely high fire rate. Charge Blast takes more time to shoot, but deals more damage in a wider radius. The weapon also has a cooldown of 3 seconds if shot too many times, but has a longer cooldown if shooting semi-auto, so strategize accordingly with this weapon of mass destruction. There's also an unintentional bug-made-feature with this weapon which I will leave to the community to find, so go crazy and experiment with it. ;)

  • Updated PR5 Plasma Rifle to be projectile-based.

  • Added Unique Scope images for the following guns: DBS, HAM-GUN, and PR5.

  • Increased Mass of player object from 1 to 5 to reduce player knockback from projectiles. With this change, movement speed, jump height, and leap force will be increased to accommodate for this change.

GAME MODE ADDITIONS AND CHANGES:

  • Added NEW Partybox Game ModePaintball / Blast away your enemies with Plasma Blasters and increased movement speed! PB7 Plasma Blaster Starts, Gungen disabled. First player to reach 10 kills wins.
  • Vaulted Showdown (MODE) from Quick Play.

  • Added Gun Game (MODE) to Quick Play.

  • Added One-Point Classic Free for All (MODE) to Quick Play.

  • Vaulted Pathed Pillars (MAP) from Quick Play.

  • Increased Score to Win in Gun Game from 17 to 20.

BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed initial spawn points so players no longer spawn on top of each other by chance, they will always spawn at different spawn points at the start of the match.

  • Fixed Menu Alignment so everything is properly aligned.

  • Disabled weapon swapping when aiming to fix the scope image not being disabled on gun swap.

With the changelog notes gone over, you might be wondering how many Rise Coins you get with the several ways of earning? Well, here's how many you can get!

  • Multikills (Quadra Kill or higher): 1 for each trophy up to Killicious within 10 seconds of each kill.

  • Killstreaks: 2 for 5 in a row, 3 for 10 in a row, and 5 for 15 in a row.

  • Moshpit Round Complete: 1 for each round.

  • Completing PvP Matches: 5 for each match (2x with Double XP)

  • Winning PvP Matches: 10 for each match (2x with Double XP)

  • Achievements: 750 each.

  • Reaching Max Rank (Prestige Noble 1): 11000.

  • One-Time Login Bonus750 if you are new, 4000 if you played the game and got at least 40,000 XP.

One more thing: With the customization items, once purchased, they can only be transferred to other devices if you unlock all the items in a category, for example: Hats. The reason why is because of my limited knowledge of the Steam API. If I could figure out how to implement per-piece unlocks and transferring them individually, I 100 percent would do it, but for now, this is my workaround for it.

Well, that concludes this update for the PreBeta. Thank you for reading!

See you in the fight! -Reece
