Hotfix #4 - January 30 Progression and Server Fixes, Balance Improvements, and Quality of Life Updates

This upcoming patch focuses mainly on stability, progression reliability, and multiplayer issues, alongside balance changes, UI improvements, and quality of life updates across the game.

Two major areas that have received significant attention:

  • Progression loss issues – We’ve identified the root causes and implemented fixes to mitigate lost progression going forward.

  • Ghost / inactive servers – Several underlying issues have been addressed to reduce invalid servers appearing.

Below is a full breakdown of what’s included: Bug Fixes

  • Completely reworked how save data is handled to prevent loss of game progression.

  • Save data is now stored both locally and on the backend. If a mismatch occurs, players can choose which data to use.

  • Fixed an issue where Jameras Ultimate would consume extra charges instead of properly recasting.

  • Jameras Ultimate can no longer be reactivated while she is in Fiery state unless Recast is enabled.

  • Fixed the Frostmend perk not spawning healing orbs in solo play.

  • Vending machines will now appear in Harvest Operation (if unlocked).

  • Fixed Zen duration improvements being lost after Zen expired.

  • Fixed Ironhorns Defense blocking teammates’ projectiles.

  • Fixed the BOOM BOOM perk so it now works with more than 4 Armor Plates.

  • Savior perk now grants Armor Plates equal to the player or ally affected.

  • Fixed Shock-related desync between enemy telegraphs, animations, and abilities.

  • Updated VFX for Bleeding Dagger room modifier and slightly adjusted movement.

  • Fixed Demon Warrior minion not properly taunting.

  • Pull no longer shows stun VFX.

  • Moved chests out of level geometry in Harvest Operation.

  • Tweaked enemy item drop behavior so multiple items scatter instead of stacking.

  • Doorways to the next arena now always glow when players can leave.

Combat, Enemies and Difficulty Tuning

  • Reduced Health gained from Alarm Level by 12%.

  • Reduced Damage gained from Alarm Level by 20%.

  • Reduced maximum damage bonus from Alarm Level by 65%.

  • Reduced base enemy damage on Bandit difficulty by 20%.

  • Reduced boss health:

    • Bandit: -5%

    • Raider: -10%

    • Liberator: -5%

  • Candle Amalgamation health reduced by 6%.

  • Candle Amalgamation no longer spawns Elite adds.

  • Slash & Bash health increased by 11%.

  • Sniper enemy snipe damage reduced by 25%.

  • Boss Otis:

    • Smash damage -25%

    • Meat Delivery damage -18%

    • Puke Sweep damage -37.5%

  • Bosses & Mini-Bosses can no longer be staggered by Shock.

Loot, Drops and Balance

  • Merchant restock price increased by 33%.

  • Merchant “restock again” price increase raised by 33%.

  • All Vending Machines now become more expensive over time.

  • Perk Vending Machines no longer drop 2x perks.

  • Raider difficulty:

    • Rare drop chance +44%

    • Epic drop chance +40%

  • Liberator difficulty:

    • Rare drop chance +25%

    • Epic drop chance +44%

  • Mini Bosses now drop +1 guaranteed equipment.

  • Bosses now drop +2 guaranteed equipment.

  • Bosses & Mini-Bosses have increased chances to drop higher rarity equipment.

  • Healing rooms now heal a percentage of max health.

  • Bandage healing reduced by 25%.

  • Black Coin Shop reroll price increase changed from 10 → 55.

  • Merchant is no longer affected by Loot Luck.

  • Merchant Legendary and Mythic drop chances adjusted accordingly.

  • Added equipment drop count to room reward drop tables.

UI, Controls and Quality of Life

  • Reroll button always visible on perk selection, even with zero tokens.

  • Added new bright cursor.

  • Added cursor size option (Settings → General).

  • Default Region now appears first in region filter list.

  • Fixed Zen duration stat display on Champion screen.

  • Fixed bandage description showing incorrect value.

  • Ability icons properly display multiple stack states.

  • Added Show Damage Value option (Accessibility).

  • Fixed Encyclopedia entry for Black Coins.

  • Alarm level on post-game summary now matches in-game value.

  • Added Jamera trait feedback on ability bar (Sun Strike flashes orange).

  • Added bandage hotkey:

    • Keyboard: B

    • Gamepad: D-Pad Left

  • Changed Gamepad Perk Wheel from D-Pad Up → D-Pad Right (Requires reset in Controls)

  • Added ally health bars in multiplayer.

  • Fixed Shock Damage missing on post-game screen.

  • End-of-level final votes now appear for all clients.
