What We’re Working On Right Now

Hey everyone,

We wanted to share a clearer overview of what the team is currently focused on. A lot of work has been happening behind the scenes, and while not everything is ready to ship just yet, these are the main areas we’re actively pushing forward.

Tech and Stability

Our top technical focus right now is stability, reliability, and multiplayer experience. This includes:

  • A fix for lost progression issues, along with safeguards to prevent similar cases

  • Fixes for ghost / inactive servers

  • Improved server list filtering for easier matchmaking

  • Removing the most severe crashes

  • Better and clearer error messages when issues occur

Our goal here is to make sessions more reliable and reduce frustration when things go wrong.

Content

On the content side, we’re continuing to expand the world and playable experience:

  • New playable characters

  • Biome 3

  • Smaller improvements to Biome 1 & 2, including new level variations and minibosses

  • Ongoing improvements to The Liberator (the lobby area)

  • More items

These updates are being developed alongside technical work, not instead of it.

Game Design and Quality of Life

A big portion of our focus is refining how the game feels to play, based heavily on your feedback:

  • Tons of balance adjustments, including:

    • difficulty tuning

    • equipment power and drop rates

    • power scaling

    • perk balance

  • A wide range of quality of life improvements driven by your feedback

  • A Champion Perk system - special character perks that alter abilities

  • Additional difficulty tiers

This is about making progression clearer, builds more interesting, and runs more rewarding.

Looking Ahead

We’ll be sharing more concrete updates as work progresses and features near completion. Your feedback plays a big role in shaping our priorities, and we’re committed to keeping you informed along the way.
