Raiders of Blackveil changes
Minor Update #1
Hey Raiders!
Minor Update #1 is now live!
This update focuses on improving gameplay clarity, updating ability and perk descriptions, and addressing a handful of bugs and balance adjustments that have been reported by the community.
One of the bigger additions in this update is an overhaul to how flat damage and healing values are displayed. Perks and abilities will now show values that scale with your current stats, along with their scaling percentage, making it much easier to understand exactly how your build is affecting your abilities while planning your run.
As always, thank you to everyone who has continued sharing feedback and reporting issues. It genuinely helps us track down problems and continue improving Raiders of Blackveil.
Gameplay
Trap damage now scales based on the current Alarm Level.
Traps can no longer crit.
Removed friendly fire on Sap Spike traps.
Tweaked the Electric Fence traps to make enemies less likely to wander into them.
Tweaked how Ironhorn's Eruption talent calculates damage.
Punch can no longer trigger Bless and Fury.
UI Improvements
Flat damage and healing values on perks and abilities are now displayed as scaled values based on your current Ability Power, Attack Damage, and Healing Power. The scaling percentage is also shown after the value, making perk choices clearer and giving more accurate information when planning builds. Steam post imageSteam post image
Ability descriptions have been updated with more accurate numbers, clearer wording, improved syntax colorization, and updated icons.
Updated the button glyph for D-pad Left.
Added new icons for the Stat Booster flasks.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where Otis' Puke Sweep attack could desync its damage hitbox from the animation.
Fixed an issue where the Sap Sprayer enemy could spawn with an active telegraph.
Changed Bash and Basher enemies to attack in place if their attack gets interrupted.
Fixed an issue where one of Otis' healing minions couldn't reach his final position.
