RadCity: A Post-Apocalyptic Adventure changes
Welcome to the world of RadCity! Today I want to share some progress on the world and content, as well as some news for the beginning of the year.
a demo is nearly ready and will be available on 10th of February.
the game is taking part in Steam Next Fest starting on 23rd of February.
while a lot of the game content is done, it's still a work in progress with many cool things to add so any feedback is greatly appreciated.
RadCity takes place in an unnamed city in Eastern Europe, two years after nuclear war with the use of radioactive dirty bombs.
You'll visit derelict industrial buildings like factories, depots, railyards and more, in a bleak broken world. You'll scavenge them for food, for needed items in missions, you'll solve environment puzzles, gain access to hidden areas and discover the stories of other survivors.
Most locations are inspired by real places here in Romania, urbex locations, photographed, and created in 3D. The coolest parts of these are rehashed, they're given interiors and made into something that fits the industrial and post-apocalyptic setting of the game - the rust, the metal, the neglect:

Most gameplay systems are done and content is on track to be finished for a late 2026 release. Keep an eye out for the demo release in 3 weeks!
