Here’s a summary of the development progress so far.
This month, the focus has been on overall gameplay improvements, stability, and level design.
※ This is not a full update. These are features currently in development, and some may change or may not be included in the final game.
Combat & New Systems
Guard System (New)
A new guard system has been added.
Hold Right Mouse Button to guard
Reduces incoming damage, elemental damage, and status buildup
Guard consumes SP when blocking attacks, and will trigger a Guard Break when SP is depleted
Dodging while guarding will cancel guard, and some abilities cannot be used during guard
New guard-related stats have also been added:
Guard Damage Reduction
Guard Elemental Reduction
Guard Status Resistance
Gameplay Improvements
Ladder
Improved ladder climbing for smoother movement
Added drop-down ladders that can be used as shortcuts
Climbing
Improved hill climbing behavior
Animation now adapts based on height
Reduced arm clipping on steeper terrain
Hidden Walls
Hidden walls have been improved and can now be destroyed
Input System
Reworked internal input handling
Changed how input wait tasks are stored
Fixed an issue where existing input waits were removed when another input ended
Added handling for certain states
Fixed cases where inputs could become unresponsive under specific conditions
Fury System (In Progress)
A new Fury system is currently in development.
Uses a new animation set
Includes post-process effects and combat changes
Some elements (VFX/SFX) are still in progress
Combat Improvements
Added a new Hybrid damage type (physical + magical combined)
Updated some abilities to use the new damage system
Level Design & World
Reworking existing levels
Adjusted placement of enemies, portals, and save points
PCG is being used extensively

System Improvements
Portal System
Reduced the time where player input is locked after using portals
Improved streaming for smoother transitions
Boss & AI
Boss areas are now preloaded for smoother encounters
AI will no longer act while the player is still loading
We will continue improving the game.
