CHANGES/FIXES

  • Added an In Game browser.

  • Testing a fix that should stop zombies from walking into walls in the Quarantine level.

  • Added some new models and FX for abilities. They should look a bit better now.

  • Significantly increased AI health. Bullets won't be as OP.

  • Fixed an issue that made A.I. see doors as obstacles.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented guards from taking damage in the Prologue.

  • Fixed an issue that spawned an enemy in the tutorial.

  • Fixed a crash in multiplayer.

KNOWN ISSUES:

For the moment, I am using text to speech for dialogue. I plan on replacing this as soon as possible.

I'll be adding the pickaxe to the default items in the next hotfix so it's easier to harvest rocks/metals.

The tutorial isn't very good. I'll be slowing it down and adding more functions in the next few updates.

Alt Tabbing will clear focus for your mouse. If you hold alt tab and double click on the game screen to return it will resolve the issue. I'll have this fixed as soon as possible, but it looks like it might be an engine issue from what I've seen on the forums.

Cinematics for the Research Center mission aren't firing. The mission is alway way too short. I'll be updating this in the next few versions.

The Administration level is going to be completely revamped. It's way to small to fight in.

Boss fights are kinda lame. I'll be adding some cool FX later on.

Body modifications are not showing up properly (this is why I added the coming soon screen in the customization menu).

Guide pictures are all displaying the raw meat icon for now. I'll have new pictures soon!

The guide panel (and some other menus) look a little weird. I'll be slowly adjusting these through the hotfixes.

AI movement can be a little weird inside of buildings. I'll be improving this over the next few updates.

Player profile icons aren't being saved right now.

The cloud sim/planet atmospheres look pretty bad. I'll have it fixed up when the other issues are cleaned up!

The terraforming tools aren't working.

The scanner doesn't do anything when activated.

The faction menu isn't showing in multiplayer. I'll have this fixed in the next update.

UP NEXT (Season 1):

  • More weapons, armor, crafting, buildings, etc...

  • Better spawn positions for the AI in the Prologue.

  • Dedicated Servers

  • Mod/workshop support.

  • Music mixer for custom playlists. The menu is there, but no music is available.

  • Shop to buy new music.

  • Armor support for human and alien characters.

  • Custom character choices for multiplayer. I.E. Biomorph, Human, Anima, Alien.

  • Forge Mode.

  • Updated prologue and season one maps.

  • Updated cinema for the prologue and season 1.

  • Side Quests for the prologue and season 1.

  • More sandbox/space sim content.

  • Exploration System (scanning, learning languages, finding logs, etc...).
