Hi everyone!

Our first playtest has officially ended, and what a productive day it was! We had friends and fellow developers dive into the game, and they left us with pages of feedback. We spent the beginning of this week huddled up, studying every note to decide which changes are must-haves for the demo and which ones we should save for the full release.

After some careful consideration, our To-Do list is finalized, and the demo is already starting to shape up beautifully. We’ve been moving fast! Here’s a quick look at what’s been happening:

UI & Visual Overhaul

  • We’ve added new animations to several UI elements to make the interface feel more responsive and alive.

  • Based directly on playtest feedback, we’ve reorganized the Upgrade Tree. It’s now much more intuitive and easier to navigate while you’re planning your next move.

  • Added photo-wrapping planets to our game (check it out below!)

Balance & Optimization

  • We’ve adjusted several upgrade values to smooth out the difficulty curve and keep the gameplay loop engaging.

  • We fixed some performance leaks that were causing occasional crashes. The game is much more solid now!

  • We completely reforged the resource collecting mechanic. It’s much more satisfying now.

Our main focus remains the Itch.io demo release planned for later this month (stay tuned). As for next week? We’re going back to rebuild our Comet (random events) system from scratch.

If you haven't yet, please add Planet No More to your Steam Wishlist. Every single wishlist helps us with visibility and keeps the momentum going!

Thanks for following our journey. See you next time!
