addedThis week, we officially kicked off full-scale development for the full release! We’ve begun implementing core features that we’ve been planning for a long time, starting with an expansion of our Comet system. On top of the two existing comet types, we are currently designing and coding several brand-new variants. Additionally, we spent a good portion of our week building a custom visual editor for our Upgrade Tree. This internal tool will allow us to expand, adjust, and balance the upgrade tree much more efficiently in the later stages of development.
addedBased on one of our most requested player feedbacks, you can now upgrade your manual cursor damage and decrease its cooldown!
addedAdded a new comet type that temporarily boosts your cursor damage by x2. Both its spawn chance and buff duration are fully upgradable. We call it as " Cursor Comet ".
addedAdded another comet variant that automatically collects all generated resources for a limited time when caught. Its spawn chance and duration can also be upgraded. " Resource Comet " will how we'll call it.
addedThe Laser Ship is Here!!! We’ve officially added the Laser Ship! It fires a hot, devastating energy beam at celestial bodies. Naturally, its damage, beam radius, fire rate, and fuel consumption are all fully upgradable.
addedWhat's Next?Next week, we’ll keep our heads down and continue implementing new mechanics and content just like this week. I can't wait to share the next batch of features we cook!

Hi everyone!

This week, we officially kicked off full-scale development for the full release!

We also have a couple of strategic updates regarding the project's logistics:

  • Demo Updates: We have decided to pause updates for our Steam and Itch demos for the time being. This allows us to keep our absolute focus on finalizing the full game. However, we do plan to give the demo one last major update right before the full release.

  • Devlog Platform: Up until now, we’ve been cross-posting these weekly devlogs on both Steam and Itch. Moving forward (unless we change our minds), we will likely publish these updates exclusively here on Steam to consolidate our community hub.

Here is a look at what we’ve done this week:

  • Based on one of our most requested player feedbacks, you can now upgrade your manual cursor damage and decrease its cooldown!

  • Added a new comet type that temporarily boosts your cursor damage by x2. Both its spawn chance and buff duration are fully upgradable. We call it as "Cursor Comet".

  • Added another comet variant that automatically collects all generated resources for a limited time when caught. Its spawn chance and duration can also be upgraded. "Resource Comet" will how we'll call it.

  • The Laser Ship is Here!!! We’ve officially added the Laser Ship! It fires a hot, devastating energy beam at celestial bodies. Naturally, its damage, beam radius, fire rate, and fuel consumption are all fully upgradable.

What's Next?

Next week, we’ll keep our heads down and continue implementing new mechanics and content just like this week. I can't wait to share the next batch of features we cook!

If you haven't yet, please add Planet No More to your Steam Wishlist. Every single wishlist helps us with visibility and keeps the momentum going!

Thanks for following our journey. See you next time!
