  • Earthworm Creature Usually encountered within cave systems. They can only be hit when they are unburied. They only unbury themselves when they are close enough to their target.

  • Blastwings Overhaul Blastwings have been completely redesigned to meet the new visual standards. While they can no longer be captured, they are now guaranteed to drop Nightash upon defeat. They now detonate when in close proximity to the player.

  • Burstbeetles Behave similarly to Blastwings but move along the ground.

Improvements

  • The character can now be rotated during character creation.

  • The Mountain region now features a more authentic, overhauled tilemap.

  • Footsteps now react to different surfaces.

  • Trees now react dynamically to axe impacts.

  • Enhanced feedback for many destructible objects when attacked.

  • The explosion sound has been replaced with a more suitable one.

  • All creatures and animals should now twitch less when changing directions.

  • The icons in the overview window for items sold via the sellbox now have a more suitable color.

  • The icons in the discoveries overview window now have a more suitable color.

  • In the new feedback system, the correct character name is now always pre-filled in the username field.

  • Updated character system to support additional selectable body types.

  • Respawn management updated in preparation for additional regions.

  • The prices have been adjusted slightly.

  • Equipment system improved.

  • Various UI improvements.

  • Sound system improved.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that was sometimes triggered during a season change. Thanks for submitting the error report, Lacy!

  • Fixed an issue where on hit sounds did not play reliably.

  • The hover tooltip no longer incorrectly appears when hovering over an empty inventory slot.

  • Fixed an issue where the initial equipping and unequipping of items did not function reliably.

  • Fixed a bug where unequipping items that provide extra inventory slots would trigger an incorrect error message.

  • The Windstep and Veilstep spells are now working correctly again.

  • The character no longer occasionally slides while a movement speed buff is active.

  • The character can no longer be moved after death, as usual.
