After a lot of thought and discussion with the community, we’ve decided to take down the Demo. Below is the verdict from the community as we came together to make this tough call. Steam post image
As ODDCORE has evolved, the Demo no longer reflects the current Early Access build. The game has grown a lot, and we don’t want new players getting the wrong first impression.
We know many of you have time, achievements, and memories in the Demo. Instead of removing it entirely, we plan to preserve it as a legacy branch within the main game, with updates to optimization and leaderboards down the line.
Early Access is where ODDCORE truly lives now, and we want all feedback and impressions to reflect that experience. If you want to help shape what’s next, hop into the Discord and join us.
Amongst the news
Discord is booming Thank you to all the fresh meats joining ODDCORE. The energy has been unreal.
Minor bug fixes Small stability and polish fixes have rolled out quietly behind the scenes.
What’s next for ODDCORE?
Expect a substantial update in the coming weeks. There is quite a bit of ODDNESS for us to explore together.
Planned focus areas:
Localization (Chinese, German, Spanish, and more will be supported) - if you have experience in localization, join the server and be apart of the process! We need all the help we can get)
New maps (cough in Frutiger Aero...)
New enemies (We will remain faithful to the backroom's catalogs of entities)
New items (We want to focus on expanding weapons' mods and adding more stackable passives)
