It's Timmee again! Hope you've been enjoying the last Resort update and all the new possibilities that came with the save system. But enough of that—we've got something exciting to announce!
That's right: the Entity & Boss Update is here!
Lots of y'all asked for it, and now you've got it! We've got a new Boss Pool packed with New Bosses; multiple boss levels to spice things up a little; a New Entity, plus some "makeup" for the existing Entities. Not only that — this update also brings new lore maps and mysterious cassettes just waiting for you to explore, along with tons of QoL updates and balancing. Here's the sneak peek for those who haven't saw it yet

With so many upgrades to Entities and bosses, ODDCORE is getting a fresh start. The leaderboard will be reset, so it's time to jump back in and fight for the top spot!
And hey — if any of you (you are a legend if you don’t have ODDCORE but are still reading this) or your friends haven't stepped into ODDCORE yet, there's going to be a 20% discount to celebrate this update! Rework:
Shockwave from bosses now scale as a projectile
Omega Crawler
Attack 1: runs at you and fire a huge projectile
Attack 2: spins and fire a spiraling wave of projectiles
Attack 3: leap with an incredible hang time and big body slam creating the shockwave

A Charger with huge HP that B-line toward you with murderous intent

Humanoid dog that will launch themselves at you for an easy snack
Zombie hound variant that lunges 3 times before landing.

Wanderers that have let the CORE corrupt their minds.
REWORK:
Acid Dog
Attack 1: now vomit 3 slow moving projectiles
Hugger Reskin
Skuller
Changed to only call down meteors and updated visuals.
Small Tube reskinned into a Medium sized Caterpillar
Eyeball
Acid variant: Sprinkle projectile in waves
Void variant: Shoot multiple larger projectiles
Rats significantly bigger to show better.

Base dmg 7 -> 11
Alt dmg 25 -> 30 per bullet
Pistol Mod 2 adding 1 more effect: t+1 burst shot
SMG
Fixed the Alt dmg to proper tick damage inside the orb. (Previously was only when they first touch / engaged with the orb)
Alt dmg 20 -> 14 because of changing to tick damage .
Shortened the Black hole mod range but scales with +alt size mod. Visual updates too when you have the item.
All bosses and enemies’ HP scaling reduced early game
Enemy dmg improved to better reflect their base damage. (Ie. Early game heavy hitters remain late game heavy hitters.)
Freeze effects will no longer freeze -> Freeze effects is now a stack that can amplify all damage by 1% per hit. Resets when the freeze goes away.
Added shock x ice combo (requires 3 freezes). This insta freezes enemies like it did.
All fire and radioactive effects scale with your primary weapon damage, including combos.
Chain damage from shock effect -> (10% of primary weapon damage)
Golden credit card (extra shop) item capped at max 1.
Armor capped at max 80%
Late game enemies scale in hp slightly faster (post variant70)
Life steal now also applies to damage over time. Capped at 100 hp/sec. The rest is put in a queue that fills until HP fully refilled or the queue fully consumed. It also ignores passives, I.e. only applies from weapons, gadgets, or soul damage.
Stun (not shock elemental, actual stun) only works from weapons
CHANGES:
Global fire rates timeout removed and changed to unique. Each weapon has their own “firerate cooldown” so you won’t have to wait to fire your weapon after swapping
Fan can now suck in all physic bullets (BFF, Bomba, Bat, e.t.c)
Slo mo Gadget will no longer delay sniper zoom in
Certain items have a hard cap now, or reduce in chance for each stack. (Ie. 100% to start -> 80% after you have 1 -> 60% after 2, etc). Removes at 0% (including the clone machine).
Teddy bomb now ignores passives, only destroys from your bullets.
Minimum alt time (the max reduction in alt cooldown) now unique to each gun, ie the fastest alt for smg is now 2 seconds
QUALITY OF LIFE:
Custom Music
Custom music will now be streaming so your game won’t crash with 200+ songs in the custom music folder
Custom music now comes with unique stats based on the file. You need to enable this feature in the juke menu.
UI
All stats in the tab display now display as gold if it's maxed out.
Icon to show what items are stackable.
New enemy hp bar that dynamically appears on top of everything.
Enemy indicators only appear on the last 4 enemies of purge rounds to avoid UI clutter. You can change it back to the way it was in the settings.
Other Quality of Life update
Leaderboards Reset
Overlays won’t freak out when you hover multiple items
Screen space reflections (named “SSR” under graphics) now exposed as a setting. 5 tiers of quality.
The Camera Shake setting moved to “Access” tab.
Emission now cuts through fog so you can see it better.
Now you might encounter nightmare (or any other hub-lockout level) even after visiting the shop
Toggle fade to black globally
MAPS:
Pool’s tiles on certain map are down rez
A lot of materials upgraded to use normals and/or subtle triplaner roughness to look good with SSR.
New water
Add more jumppads to some maps
New Language support (and Shout out to the team that make it happen!):

Upcoming Price Adjustment
Since we launched back in January, ODDCORE has come a long way — and that's thanks to y'all. Across previous updates we've added new mods, new maps, and new mechanics — with more to come in our fourth major update. The game today is a long way from where it started, and the price has held the same the whole time.
To reflect everything that's been added, we'll be adjusting the price to $12.99 on July 11, 2026.
A couple of important things:
If you already own ODDCORE, nothing changes for you. This only affects new purchases from July 11 onward.
If you've got friends on the fence, there's still about a month to grab it at the current price.
What’s coming for 0.5?
That could be anything, there’s few ideas already spinning in my mind while writing:
New place to discover like Potato Room, as we’ve got lots of feedback from y’all saying it’s hard to find potato)
New game mechanics maybe? Like a Slot machine that can Yolo all your existed item and cards for something (could also be some debuff :] you are welcome )
Some QoL update like a Bartender serving you drinks in the Diner
And more to come!
