Nin Online changes
This update has a lot of new features for us to expand content with, as well as some house keeping bug fixes and improvements.
Features
(Devs) Event System can now Spawn and Despawn NPCs This can be used to create dungeons where NPCs spawn for example and you have to defeat them.
(Devs) More Steam Achievement Features
Missions and Jutsu can now unlock Steam Achievements
Mission completion based on Mission Ranks now recorded
Added Critical Rate and Critical Damage Bonus Stats (Not an actual item, just an example)Steam post imageWe're making Critical Hits a more prominent feature as you can tell! Something that's worth investing into if you like playing that way. We'll introduce rings with critical bonuses soon!
(Devs) Added Furniture Growing/Planting Mechanic"Furniture" Can now turn into another furniture item after X seconds. This can be used in many creative ways. One example is planting a "seed" furniture and having it grow into a plant later.
(Backend) Added Maps Database to MongoDB Previously, maps were saved on local servers for each server (Toad, Hawk, Slug, Snake). Now they can propagate maps from the main server if need be. This makes running more servers slightly easier. This also means we have emergency backups for maps data now too.

New Main Menu Music The new main menu music is a remastered version of our first main menu song by our musician, Afilion, all the way back in 2013. I hope the nostalgia kicks in for our old players!
Corporations are now renamed to Organizations Organizations was always the original name of this system. Players who played before 2018 know this! The reason we had to name it Corporations was to differentiate an older system that was deprecated. But it's been long enough now and there will be no confusion between these systems!
Added some animations to existing furniture
Improved Adarya's Candlelight Graphics with Animations (Animation by Fentomaru)
Added Glow & Improved Christmas Fireplace Graphics with Animations (Animation by xt3n)
Improved Angelik Date's Cauldron Graphics with Animations (Animation by Luhan)
Tweaked Jumping animations further to improve game feel There's a lot of edge cases to consider to make it feel good in various circumstances. Falling, Jumping and Falling, Jumping and Falling while running etc. It's a bit of an experiment to get it all right in all the cases.Steam post image
This is slightly slowed down so you can see the animations better!

Fixed Balloons animation changing its color in one direction
Fixed Great Messenger Hawks not being able to send Global Messages
Fixed Global Messages from Great Messenger Hawks not appearing to other players
Fixed Health Retention between Escort Missions
Fixed NPC Projectiles getting destroyed visually on the client but not actually on the server when they collided with Trees
Fixed a crash on logout caused by having a mission tracked
Fixed NPCs sometimes turning invisible when flickering
Fixed errors on Asoki Port village map that caused certain tiles to be unwalkable
