FINAL POLISH COMPLETE!
We've given Mycofall a serious polish pass with new visuals, audio, and quality of life improvements! This update focuses on improving the new player experience and making the overall game feel more polished and refined.
Welcome Tutorial - Finally!
New players, this one's for you! We've added a comprehensive tutorial level that explains all the core mechanics you need to know. It covers movement, skills, morphs, perks, and more - everything to get you ready to survive the waves!
Complete the tutorial and unlock an achievement to prove you've mastered the basics!
Boss Redesign - Miss Mantis Gets Major Upgrades
Miss Mantis has been completely revamped:
New Attack Pattern She now features a new attack combo in wave 20 that's more challenging and exciting than before.
Juicy Boss Rewards The boss loot system is now more rewarding! Miss Mantis now spawns a special loot event that drops an artifact when activated. Boss fights feel more satisfying than ever!
Enhanced Aggro Phase The aggro phase has been reworked - now it boosts nearby enemies with increased speed, making boss fights even more intense and strategic.
New Enemy Encounters
We've given our enemy roster some love with name updates and new encounters:
The"Greed Bug" is now called "Greedle"- Our greedy little friend has a proper name!
Introducing "Lord Rammhorn"- A new spawnable event bug that adds new challenges to your waves
Events Get a Visual Overhaul
All events have received significant visual improvements:
New event models and animations - Fresh visuals across all event types
New model for magnetic event item - Better visual distinction
VFX Overhaul
Combat and effects look significantly better:
New particle effects for Mycelium collection - Satisfying visual feedback
New particle effects for event item collection - Better visual feedback on all loot
Screenshake on Miss Mantis attacks - Feel the impact of her attacks
Screenshake on enemy kills - Rewarding combat moments
Screenshake on event activation - Better feedback for world events
Improved VFX on larva enemies - Better visual clarity
Complete UI Overhaul
The UI has received a comprehensive redesign:
Skill & Evolution UI
New visual design for skill evolution cards
Added more detailed information to help you make better choices
Reworked skill shop UI for better navigation and clarity
Game Over Screen
Now displays skill damage stats so you can analyze your performance
Better organized layout for reviewing your run
Visual Polish
Replaced player dash indicator icons for clearer feedback
Player healthbar is now green for better visibility
Added new sprites for event indicators
Damage & cooldown morphs now show flat stats instead of percentages - clearer and easier to understand
Keyboard Controls
Skill panel can now be switched using 1-6 keys for faster selection
Music Update - The Beginning of Something Great
We're thrilled to announce that we've partnered with an amazing composer!

New HUB menu music - A fresh atmosphere in the main menu
Music variations during rounds - The soundtrack adapts to your gameplay
What's Coming: This is just the beginning of our audio transformation! We've found an incredible artist who will be reworking and expanding the game's music throughout development and leading up to release. Expect significant audio improvements in future updates!
