Patch Notes:
The focus of this update is small balance changes and fixes.
New stuff:
Added knockback to explosions and some attacks (Please note this is still a WIP feature and is really broken if used in movement tech)
Added new checkpoint to E1M3 and changed the location of the existing checkpoint
Added 2 new jump pads to E1M3
Added a credits screen to the main menu
Changes and fixes:
Updated some of the textures for the Baron
Updated level select screen to reflect what levels are going to be in the full release
Completely removed the stamina system
Reduced Enemy Count in E1M2 and E1M3
Changed various enemy encounters in E1M2, E1M3, E1M4 and E1M5
Changed Item placements in E1M2
Fixed a bug that caused some sound effects to not be affected by the audio sliders
Barons have had their AI changed to be more forgiving
Developer Notes and news:
This is a smaller update than usual as i am hard at work on new content for the game. Currently I am still working on the new boss fight and balancing existing levels.
E1M4(Burning city) is currently having some of its arenas reworked and the enemy placements are being changed. Work on E1M4 is close to being done just need to finish 1 more combat encounter and do more play testing.
The Boss fight for E1M6 is pretty much done now with all of its attacks working. However it still has some bugs i need to iron out and the balancing of the fight needs minor adjustments.
Work on E1M7 and E1M8 is starting soon. After those levels are created in a MVP state, I'm planning start doing detail passes on existing levels and add more NPCs and secrets to each level.
Another element of the game i want to address in the future is the difficulty, making sure that the game gives a good challenge and still feels rewarding.
