Hi Survivors!

In our last update, we were obsessing over "game feel," introducing our Camera Action System, tightening up our input backend, and rolling out a brand-new title screen. We also jumped deep into the bug-squashing phase while laying out our next steps for Steam integration.

This month, we kept our momentum going towards the end of the tunnel by focusing heavily on bug fixing and stability alongside a handful of key improvements. Here is a look at what we've been working on:

  • Tutorial Prologue Cinematic: We want players to understand how dire the Fireman’s situation is in the Tutorial while also letting them dive straight into the action so the 2D Team has been busy with creating a prologue cinematic. Here’s a sneak peek!

  • Improved Card Descriptions: We made improvements on the card descriptions, using shorter phrases and symbols to make them easier to grasp while keeping the original effect intact.

  • Improving the Controller Experience: We’re continuing to improve the controller experience, making sure all menus, buttons, and on-screen elements are fully navigable and responsive.

  • Multiplayer Fixes and Improvements: Surviving the wastelands alone is tough and so we’re making sure you and your crew can enjoy stable and seamless gameplay sessions.

Thank you for backing us through this development journey. We're focused on crossing off these final checklist items, so stay tuned for more updates soon!

Thank you for your continued support and patience as we polish Maximum Apocalypse into its final, most lethal form.

See you in the wasteland.
