We have released an update for the demo version on April 29. Full patch details are listed below:

New Content & Art Optimizations

  • Remade several tree assets to improve overall vegetation visuals across scenes.

  • Updated status icons for Sickness, Rebellion, Plague, Wounded and more.

  • Enhanced crop model visuals, fixed stretching issues when viewed up close, and adjusted LOD performance.

  • Fixed visual glitches with farm fields at close range.

  • Resolved display anomalies for medium-tier city walls.

  • Reorganized and optimized multiple material configurations.

Gameplay & Balance Adjustments

  • Rebalanced stats for large buildings, allowing copper sword-and-shield units to deal damage to them even on Easy difficulty.

  • Fixed an issue where shield units could not effectively attack large structures.

  • Corrected a bug where gold rewards would not trigger when Legalist Retainers defeated enemies; newly recruited Retainers will now activate this effect properly.

  • Fixed incorrect buff configurations for certain Retainers.

  • Resolved an issue where animal corpses blocked projectile attacks, preventing damage to enemies standing nearby.

UI & Quality of Life Improvements

  • Production buildings now correctly display their function icons.

  • Fixed non-updating construction progress bars.

  • Fixed duplicate progress bars that appeared during construction while holding the Alt key.

  • Optimized world marker visuals and fixed off-center marker alignment issues.

  • Fixed text overflow errors for overly long faction names.

  • Resolved an issue where the Peasant Biography panel could not be reopened after being closed.

Crash & Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a potential crash caused by text variable assignment in the Peasant Biography interface.

  • Addressed multiple achievement-related crash issues.

  • Fixed rare crashes triggered by the weather system under specific conditions.

  • Resolved crashes occurring during rebellion logic calculations.

  • Fixed glitches and crashes related to rally components and command grouping.

  • Fixed errors caused by scene marker logic, UI refresh failures and invalid data references.
