Dear City Builders,

We are scheduled to release a version update for the Mandate Order Demo at 15:00 this Thursday(UTC+8).

This update brings extensive optimizations and bug fixes covering new player experience, graphics settings, sandbox interface, performance, city defense structures, combat judgment, and various UI interaction issues.

The following is the planned update content. All adjustments shall be subject to the officially implemented version in-game.

I. New Additions & Experience Optimizations

  • Added a toggle for the beginner tutorial, allowing players to turn tutorial content on or off as they wish.

  • Vertical Sync is enabled by default to improve visual stability.

  • Repositioned settings related to Vertical Sync and frame rate limit for easier access and modification.

  • Optimized the display and confirmation experience of the sandbox information confirmation interface.

  • Improved interface texts, translations and multilingual name display in multiple modules.

  • Revised the introductory text of the Archery Workshop.

  • Adjusted the size of partial textures to optimize resource presentation.

——Notice on Vertical Sync

After this update, Vertical Sync will be enabled by default to deliver more stable visuals.

Nevertheless, Vertical Sync may cause slight input lag. If you feel unresponsive mouse control, camera movement or command feedback during gameplay, you may manually turn off Vertical Sync in the settings.

II. Performance Optimizations

  • Reduced redundant GPU resource consumption.

  • Optimized the target acquisition overhead of city defense buildings, lowering performance pressure during large-scale battles.

  • Fixed the issue where save file loading becomes increasingly laggy as more saves are created.

  • Optimized performance for ladder mounting mechanics.

III. Building & Scene Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the wall preview showed path blocking, while the completed wall failed to block paths correctly.

  • Fixed the problem of wall barrier blocks failing to generate properly.

  • Optimized the visual presentation of national boundary lines.

  • Fixed display anomalies of terrain outer boundary lines.

  • Fixed an issue where raw materials for the Boiling Oil Pit could not be transported under certain crafting recipes.

IV. Combat & Unit Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where soldiers pending recruitment were incorrectly marked as valid targets.

  • Fixed abnormal target-locking behavior of buildings under certain circumstances.

  • Fixed an issue where vegetation removal might interfere with AI pathfinding and relevant judgment logic.

V. UI & Interaction Fixes

  • Fixed the issue that two clicks were required to switch tabs in the menu interface.

  • Fixed abnormal selected state style of fixed buttons in the conscription status panel.

  • Fixed the problem that some tooltips might be obscured.

  • Fixed incorrect icon color display in Alt Mode.

  • Renamed the original New Game entrance to Prototype Level.

  • Fixed lingering mouse hover effects after exiting the system menu with the Esc key.

  • Fixed style anomalies of quantity adjustment buttons in the trading interface.

  • Fixed the occasional display of non-existent items in the warehouse and supply depot item lists.

VI. Remarks

The above is the planned update content for this Thursday. Due to the large scope of optimizations and revisions, some contents are still under final confirmation and pre-release testing. The officially launched version may undergo adjustments as appropriate; please refer to the actual content implemented in-game.

Should you encounter any abnormalities after the update, please submit your feedback through official community channels. Our team will follow up and resolve issues continuously.

We sincerely thank all City Builders for your ongoing feedback and suggestions throughout the Demo phase. Many experience optimizations and bug fixes are developed based on your real gameplay feedback.

We will continue to polish and refine the gaming experience of Mandate Order with your valuable feedback.
