Hey all, we're excited to introduce a new trailer for Mage Tower. We've been working on this for a while, and you can check it out here!:

Mage Tower: Call of Zadeus changes
There's a new update as well, which mostly focuses on adding new visual and sound fx. Patch notes are below.

Visual & Sound FX
-Added a new animation for enhancing cards at the Bazaar.
-Added many new spell animations.
-Artifact trigger animations were made more obvious.
Sound FX -Added over 100 new sound effects for the UI, monsters, the overworld, spells, and more. UI -The "game log" was removed. Visuals and sound effects should be self-explanatory at this point. (This was a holdover from the old Mage Tower, most deckbuilders do not have a game log in their UI. If people really miss it I'll add it as a menu option, but I don't think it's necessary anymore.) Enemy Changes -Manticore's HP without plights was increased from 21 to 30. -Blightroot (a Dungeon Shaper enemy) was given +1 hp at mid-level difficulties. -Irko's Cosmigorius was given +2/+2 at all difficulties. -Hired Assassin (a Ruins Monument enemy) now gets +1 Attack each turn. Artifact Changes -The Traveler artifact (that activates if you've visited 20 towns) now deals 6 damage at gamestart instead of 3. Card Changes -Bow and Arrow attack buff reduced from 2 to 1. -Stalwart Knight's cost was increased from 2 to 3, and it was moved from uncommon to rare. -Plunging Strike's cost was increased from 2 to 3. -Hope life gain reduced from 4/6/8 to 3/4/6. -Flame Pillar and Summon Comet each had their damage reduced from 10 to 9. -Angelic Sundering had its damage reduced from 15 to 12. -Irko's Monomania's cost was increased from 1 to 4. Other Changes -For bloodrunes (the main currency), you now start with slightly less but get slightly more after each battle. -Lowered max random time between enemy spawns by 1 second. Major Bug Fixes -Fixed a bug in "Plight" difficulty that made it so that the time between battles was extremely long. -Fixed a bug that could soft lock the game if a monster with an on-hit effect died while it was attacking you. Bug Fixes -Fixed a bug where Castle's cost when upgraded was 5, when it should have been 8. -Fixed Runic Circle text display issue. -Fixed a bug where Runic Lands would summon Greck + Orcs in some battles instead of Astral Parasite + Nebulisks. (Same stats, Greck + Orcs was a placeholder in playtesting.) -Fixed "Change Formation" not having the correct card frame color. -Fixed a bug where the "Unholy Torch" skill from the Zadean Research tree could trigger in other battles. -Plague no longer counts as Conjuring a card. -Colossal Sword will now display its visual "burst" animation when you play the Defender, rather than at other times. -Fixed a bug where turning off card tooltips in the settings would turn off many other tooltips.
